Physical Therapy Yoga Stretch Strap with 12 Loops, 1 Inch Wide, 8 Ft Long

This is a stretch strap - as in, a strap used for stretching, but whose material and construction itself doesn't stretch. There are clones of the OPTP strap, but whose reviews suggest are of lower material and construction quality. Then there are the stretchable stretch straps, which have a different purpose in mind. Example: https://www.amazon.com/Therapists-Choice®-Choice-Stretch-Strap/dp/B00VTVP98C/ The Gradient Fitness strap, in contrast to the coarser weave of the OPTP strap, uses a herringbone weave in a material that's similar in design to a seatbelt strap. It's smooth, snag-free, feels strong, and doesn't 'give'. The loop stitching doesn't budge - as you're putting the most pressure on these while doing the stretches, you want these to be strong. The end loops also have a thin layer of neoprene material on the inside, for comfort. This Gradient Fitness strap is functionally identical to the $18 OPTP strap, yet has superior materials and the neoprene padding. It also just looks and feels nicer. Priced at $10, it's better in every way. Also, I noticed that the THINK strap is a bit wider (1.5"), of a similar design, and is priced similarly. I've had 3 knee surgeries in the past year. I used to go to the gym every day and stretch for at least 15 minutes to warm up. After my most recent surgery, I've been going to physical therapy and doing my exercises at home but I can never get a good stretch for my quads and hams on my own. Instead of relying on random pieces of furniture to help me stretch, I got this strap and it is awesome. Now I can get into a very deep stretch which actually makes my knee feel better. I can see this being great for a variety of stretches, not just for the legs. I previously purchased a similar strap where the loops were elastic. That was absolutely pointless because the elasticity of the strap prevented me from getting a good stretch. You need something that won't absorb the force being applied form a stretch and this strap is great for that. I would highly recommend this product.

I bought 2 of these straps in the past few months, none of them came with the Velcro strap for storage. Quality of the strap is good for the price. So I kept both.

The possibilities are endless with this strap because they have you a loop on literally every section of the strap. Allows you to get deep stretches in many different positions.

This came in handy after having a silent stroke. I struggled to balance, strength and mobility. I used a very similar product with P.T. and just needed something to use a home. This was perfect.

I've ordered a few of these stretching straps over the years and honestly most of them ended up being kind of disappointing — thin, short, handles that dig into your hands. This one is different. It's noticeably longer than the ones I've had before, which makes a big difference when you're trying to get a deeper stretch or work around limited flexibility. The neoprene handles are a really nice touch. There's actual cushioning there, not just some stitched fabric loop. My hands don't get sore even when I'm holding tension for a while during PT exercises. The strap itself feels thick and sturdy — like it'll actually hold up over time instead of fraying after a few months. Overall I'm really happy with this purchase and wish I'd found it sooner. Would definitely recommend to anyone doing physical therapy or just trying to stay flexible.

It was the best price and the nicest number of spaces to use, which I do for exercise of my legs that need it from a fall. It was recommended by my physical therapist and I am so glad I chose this one. Very nice. Strong and easy to use.

I really like how it has lots of different loops, the very strong weaving put into making this strap, the loop at each end helps to add the extra pull on stretching muscles in my case. Vey Good Value, Well Made, Works well , comfortable on limbs to use. I'd highly suggest this strap!

This strap is well made and well designed, with loops all the way up and comfortable loops at the ends. I’m using it for rehab exercises after total knee replacement but there are many more exercises in the leaflet that comes with it. It comes with a Velcro strap for fold up storage - pity there is only a plastic bag to keep it in as a cloth pouch would be longer lasting.
