The book is fantastic. Lots of info on each card plus it has some layouts. The cards I don’t like much because they stick together and makes it hard for me to shuffle them. I do however have another deck that I use but mainly for this set for the book. I may use the cards for decoration. They are stuff and hurt my hands but again they are sturdy and should last long. If I could figure out a way to make them not stick together I’d be so happy. Other than that negative, this would make a great gift for someone that’s a beginner at reading tarot.

I was extremely happy with this purchase, so much that after I bought the first set I went back and purchased 3 more for upcoming holiday gifts! Great deck and the book is absolutely great, especially for beginners! The book give detailed descriptions and meaning on every card, up right and reserved. It also qives a quick descriptions on both as well if you want that as well. Shows spread layouts and meanings. The cards are great and the perfect Rider Waite Smith art! 10/10

I think this set is great! I am a beginner and it helped me to learn the deck. Easy to read and cards are great!

This is a good set with a full color book and a nice version of the classic RWS deck. (I didn’t have any problems with my deck. The cards don’t stick together and I can overhand and riffle shuffle it just fine.) For the sale price, it’s a steal, which is why I got it even though I have plenty of versions of the original RWS deck. The book is good for beginners, and the deck is nice as well. A bit on the thicker side, but I can riffle and overhand shuffle it, so it’s not bad at all. I really like the coloring on this version. Much better than the yellow box version published by US Games. The backs are also much better than those plaid backs. The only thing that bothers me here is the bizarre edit on the Judgement card. I know the “Judgment” spelling is more accepted in the US, which is fine. If the publishers of this deck used their own font for the titles, I could see why that change would be made. But they actually use the original handwritten titles by the artist, which is why I find it weird they went through the trouble of editing the title of the Judgement card by removing the “e.” Such a strange choice! (In the picture, the card on the left is from the Smith-Waite Centennial Tarot, while the card on the right is from this set.)

I love this set!! I've used many tarot card sets in the past but I've always struggled with interpreting the cards. The book is fantastic and breaks down everything really well. I would highly recommend this for anyone who loves tarot!

I live this set. It comes with a nice deck of cards for you to practice your reading. The book that comes with it is an excellent read and easy to follow. It's a great purchase for a beginner to learn the meanings of the cards and different layouts.
