The Indian print quality isn’t perfect—some pages have slightly faded words—but overall the book is still very usable. The technical content is excellent and clearly explained. The book does not follow traditional bottom-up teaching style; instead, it uses a refreshing top-down approach.

Fantastic book to delve from start into computer netoworking and the price is cheap too . Recommended if you have no knowledge about networking and wants a good introduction + more depth.

Best book for understanding networking concept

The way the concepts are explained in this book is really great. It is visible that both the authors want the reader to understand the concepts by the way the book is written.

Excellent book to understand how internet works through the 5 layers of network model. The title should be changed to "Computer Networking and the Internet" so that people searching for a comprehensive book on internet don't miss this book. However, please note this book does not cover the details of the "Physical Layer", for which you have to read some other book. "Data Communications and Networking with TCP/IP Protocol Suite" by Behrouz A Forouzan 6th Edition is a very good book. The former book is a "Top Down" approach, while the latter is "Bottom Up" approach.
