Perfect for my 3-Speed Sturmey Archer Trigger
Replaced the cable on my 1971 Raleigh Sports 3 Speed with a Sturmey Archer AW3 hub and classic trigger. High quality inner and outer cable. Proper length from handlebar to hub via downtube and seat stay. This is the real deal

Exactly what I needed for my 3spd
This was an inexpensive replacement for the antiquated cable on an old English three-speed bicycle I recently acquired. This newer version does the same time, but it is different in a couple of ways: 1) Older shifting house for 3spds did not cover most of the cable, stopping a little short of the fulcrum point for the cable. This newer version goes all the way, but I shortened mine to continue using the original fulcrum point (a little pulley attached to the frame). You can use cable cutters or a carbon cutoff wheel with a Dremel rotary tool. 2) This newer cable has an anchorage piece that grabs onto the end of the cable with a little bolt and nut. The older versions had a built-in ferrule that sat inside an adjustable screw piece that screwed into the indicator chain piece. In this new version, you cut off the length of cable you need, attach on the anchorage point onto the cable end, and hook the anchorage point to the indicator chain. I had a hard time find this product elsewhere for a good price. Amazon had the best for it. ~$4-5

Cable gear kit worked Great!
The universal kit worked great and was easy to put on the bike. Some instructions would've been helpful . I just watched some videos on You Tube that show different stages of how-to for Sturmey Archer equipped bikes.

all the correct parts must be sent. the cable threads and adapter were not the same
manufacturer must make sure the correct parts are all included. Installation instructions, would have been very helpful, as well. Not a happy camper.
