OpenRun Mini Bone Conduction Open-Ear Bluetooth Headphones, Blue

I recently got a new job where I am able to wear ear buds while I work. I absolutely hate ear buds though as they are always uncomfortable for me. Ive always preferred over the ear headphones. (Skull candy are my go to for bass) however I still needed to be able to hear at work. A few other coworkers had these shokz. I bit the bullet and ordered a pair. I love these. Very comfortable to wear all day long. They are very user friendly. There is a button on the left side you can push to pause you music. Push again and it picks right up. I can typically get 2-8 hour shifts out of a full battery. I dont just wear them at work either. Ive taken to wearing them when I go in public shopping. This has been an absolute game changer for me in public! I work a job where I deal with the public a lot. These days I get easily over stimulated in public places. I despise people who listen to their phones without headphones. This eliminates that annoyance for others around me. I can go shopping and having my music helps muffle everything else and keep me from overloading. But I can still hear if something is going on. I highly recommend these for anyone who may be antisocial or easily overstimulated by a lot of noise. They are easy to take anywhere. They are well made and can be used for so many things. I think I'll be using these constantly. For what they cost they have been every bit worth every penny. Sadly they do not adjust. That's probably my only downfall as the mini are still a little big on me but I dont notice much. I'd like to also note I saw a reviewer who mentioned these may not be good for someone with vertigo. Ive had vertigo off and on for years. So far they have not sparked an episode for me. However I dont listen to them real loud. Best advice is just try them out. If they dont work for you send em back.

I absolutely love these. Sound quality is good. easy to answer and hang up calls. I like the fact that you push a button vs. tapping like the other models. I don't have to continue to tap repeatedly until it works. I can feel the button, give it a little push, and bingo. Much easier than the OpenFit model. (although it does pick up ambient noises, so you have to be careful what you are doing while you talk on the phone). Also, I love that I can wear earplugs in a noisy environment and still hear my music or book clearly. The Bone conduction works nicely. I recommend you pay attention to the size of them though. I got the small model and it fits well. (avg sized head for a full grown man) Note that they have a two year warranty. In full transparency, I am getting mine replaced. I used them every day all day for a full year and then they died. Even if the warranty was only a year I would purchase a new one. they are that awesome. Oh, make sure you save your purchase info (order # and date) along with the serial number (not on all the devices. it is on the warranty card).

Over time, I have gotten every earbud imaginable, in an attempt to to find one I can use. I've also purchased aftermarket ear inserts for them in various sizes and various materials, trying to get them to fit comfortably and not fall out. Every time, they either won't stay in, or my ears are in absolute agony (usually agony), after a very short period of time. Honestly, I had given up. Then, by chance, I spotted these Shokz bone conduction type on my Amazon home page. I thought about it for days, because it's a huge investment on top of multiple huge investments which didn't work out. l finally decided to take the chance, and paid full price. I just wore them for 4+ hours, even fell asleep with them on, and took them off with no sensation that they had ever been there - something I previously thought impossible. These do not go into your ears at all, the soft rubber merely rests on the bone in front of your ear. The sound quality is as good as my Samsung Bud Pros, but without any pain at all- not even any slight discomfort. They're so lightweight and so comfortable, I forgot I was using them. I did have hubs mute the TV, to see if he could hear it. I had them turned up pretty loud for the experiment, but he couldn't hear a thing. I was able to hear him, but not so much that it was distracting from the music. So I'd say these are very good if you need to also be aware of your environment. If you're on the fence like I was, due to insurmountable issues with in-ear buds but are unsure if this will resolve it, you can hop right off that fence and take the plunge. These cured every single issue I had ever experienced, and I have no fear whatsoever that I will drop and break them during exercise due to the design. I was even able to put the back strap under my hair, so that they were barely visible at all. In my opinion, this is the perfect alternative for those who have pain from conventional ear buds, or who fear them dropping out and breaking. It's even a perfect product if you don't have those issues, and just want maximum comfort. I would note that the charger is a USB with a magnetic two-point attachment, and thus not interchangeable with a typical USB charger. So while you can charge it with any USB plug in (wall plug, car plug), you can't charge it with the type of USB used for most electronics (phones etc). You'll want to make sure you don't lose that, since it's not something replaced easily at a local store. I don't find it problematic since I have a specific spot to store it all (it does come with a pullstring storage bag for on the go ease), but thought I should mention it. Overall, this is by far the best Amazon investment I've made in quite some time, and that's not a statement I make lightly. I would buy them again without a second thought.

I have to wear child size glasses because my head is so small, and my ears are so small that I have a hard time keeping any kind of earbud in my ear. But I also have a lot of piercings on my ears which made it difficult to wear over ear headphones. My husband suggested I try bone conduction headphones. I had ordered a cheaper pair ($20ish) to try before I bought these, just to make sure they were going to work for what I needed before I spent a ton of money. I liked the sound quality of the first pair, but they were way too big for my head, the speakers didn't sit flush against my face, so I went in search of a smaller pair and found these. These work so amazingly, and they're so comfortable I forget I even have them on. I wear them roughly 8 to 12 hours a day and the battery lasts a very long time. I don't really listen to music so I can't speak on that, but I have used it to watch movies and YouTube, listen to audiobooks and podcasts, etc and they have been great. Even while using a power sander, I put in ear plugs and these headphones and could still hear my audiobook over the sound of the sander. Obviously they're not as travel friendly as a pair of airpods or Galaxy buds, but I took them on a trip over the weekend and had no trouble. They are a little difficult to wear when laying down but I was able to sleep in the car while wearing them. Also I love the texture of the finish on them. They are so great that I really wish I had bought two pair when they were on sale for Black Friday, so I could have a pair for work, and a pair to listen to audiobooks when I go to bed. But I will say that after trying them, I would have paid full price for these and I may end up buying a second pair anyway. If you have a lot of trouble wearing other types of headphones, these just might be the solution.

Great headset! I loved having it for the time I did. I was able to listen to audio books while doing chores and caring for the family. Even after a year and a half, the battery would last a day and a half. I would have a book playing pretty much all day long. I loved the shorter/mini, as it was snug against my head. Never had an issue with connecting to the phone. Other than the issue stated below, sometimes the charger wouldn’t charge, but I just had to disconnect and reconnect quickly and it would go. Charging only took about an hour or so from dead to fully charged, which was amazing! Super easy to use, comfortable to wear, and left my ears still open to hear things. Definitely helped with my type of ADHD and needing constant audio input that wasn’t part of daily life. Constant daily use for over a year and a half, I would say it is definitely worth the money! Only reason I left out the final star, is because after a year and a half of using them daily, they vibrated loose the crystals in my ears and cause a severe case of BPPV (benign vertigo). Anyone prone to those types of vertigo or anything else involving balance and such, use caution. That is the only complaint I have. Otherwise, it had been the best headset I have ever used. Was sad to have to get different ones.

I love these buy I may have to return because the power doesn't seem to work properly. The sound is clear. It fits over my Itty bitty ears perfectly.

If you are between the regular and the mini here's how to choose: if you need to tighten baseball caps to the max to fit on your head, get a mini. If regular baseball caps fit great with minor adjustments, get the regular. Music sound: Good Enough (great, even!). I am not a sound engineer or recording artist so understand that I am rating this for regular background music. The sound is very nice and even better with ear plugs. The volume is not lacking at all. I tend to keep turning it down. I find the sound hurts my ears less than regular headphones, but please keep in mind that this can still cause hearing damage to your cochlea. I love that I can still hear my environment. Weight: Feels light, good for all day. What I really wanted this for was to not have to fumble through my purse or pockets when I'm outside to answer a call. These tuck so neatly in my (big curly) hair that you can't even see them. I tried it with straight haired people and it's still well camouflaged. I just keep it on most of the day and never miss calls. I can even hide it in a hair wrap for full incognito mode!! Great for looking like a crazy person talking to yourself! Zoom/Calls: I haven't had any complaints about the microphone quality for calls or zooms. Most didn't even know I was using a headset. Some ambient noise can be heard in loud places (plane flying overhead, construction, loud people nearby). If you need a lot of noise cancelling and are going to use it mainly indoors, then you might consider the option with the boom mic. I'm glad I didn't get that because this version allows me to take it for runs, dog walks, and just be in public without looking like a telemarketer who got lost outside. Charging: Fast. Long lasting. 45 minutes is good to charge, and it lasts all day. I don't have music playing the entire time (perhaps a couple of hours) and I'm not on the phone for 8 hours straight (easily 3+ hours of call time). I have yet to have this run out of charge. The lowest it has been is 60% and that was on day 2. Durability: Good so far, early to tell. The unit feels like it's good quality and not flimsy. This one time will tell. Tech/connectivity: I did buy the regular sized open shokz and those stopped connecting to bluetooth after a couple of weeks (and was too big for my head). I returned it because of that and I wanted a smaller size. This may have been something that a call to the manufacturer may have fixed, but I wanted the smaller size anyway so I just sent it back. This mini unit is doing great so far. Bluetooth auto connects when I turn it on. Will update if that changes. **Edit**: My mini has unpaired itself a handful of times, but the fix is very easy. From the off position, hold the +volume/ON button until it goes into pairing mode. It has always reappeared in my Bluetooth selection. **End edit** The buttons are simple to use and easy to find tactally. Answer, hang up, start/stop music, change songs, volume, power all in three buttons. You have to play around with it (or !!!GASP!!! read the isntructions) to figure it out. All in all, I would definitely recommend this! I love that it stays on my ears and doesn't cause irritation like in-ear headphones, no ear strain like when you wear a mask all day, none of this falling out while running nonsense, and great call quality. I always say I will leave a reveiw and rarely do. However, in this case I feel it would be a complete miscarraige of justice not to let my fellow shoppers know my thoughts. I have colliflower ear from my wrestling days and normal ear buds hurt my right ear(I have tried over a dozen). The bone induction technology is perfect for me. The sound is good quality and the waterproof/resistance claim has been put to the test, believe me. I used my Shokz Mini nearly daily for almost two years with very little issues. I like running and having my ears unobstructed to hear what is around me. I also find them so comfortable to wear I forget they are on my head. The charging cord magnetically connects and aligns to the headphone charging port (I think that is cool). I would be unfair to you not to list the cons. Obviously, noise cancelling is not even in the picture. Over nearly two years there were only two glitches where the headphones acted strangely. That was fixed by just turning them off and on again. Finally, there are rubber covers on the part of the headphones that press against your head and one eventually fell of the headset. With that being said, I could not tell the difference in comfort or sound quality. Now for the reason a gave them a 5 star review. Customer Support was simply amazing. I mentioned that I had these Shokz Mini headphones for almost two years. Well, they just stopped working after nearly daily and hard usage as I am tough on electronics assisting with my workouts and physcal fitness. Their warranty is for two years so I started the warranty claim process on their website. The headphones I was trying to replace were no longer available so the process stopped me prompting me to contact their "Happiness Team". After an admittedly annoyingly long wait, I was connected to a human. They made me very happy. The serial number was wornout and I could not read the last 5 digits so they asked me some questions, looked at my proof of purchase, and then said no worries. I will have an upgraded version of my Shokz headphones in 5-8 business days at no cost to me. It has been a long time since I experience customer service like that. Hope this review helps some of you.

Auriculares simplemente espectaculares, tuve una versión anterior y se me rompieron, me decidí por este modelo, el salto cualitativo es bastante grande, ya solamente la forma de cargarlos me parece todo un acierto, lo malo que si te pierde el cable tendrás que comprar otro ya que son propietarios de la marca y no sirve otros como usb tipo c ni nada parecido, pero sólo tengo que decir bondades de éste modelo. Son cómodos se adaptan bastante bien por su tamaño, las llamadas se escuchan claras y nítidas. Eso si no esperes unos graves espectaculares para escuchar música con cancelación de ruidos....., para eso hay otro tipo de cascos, estos son ideales para escuchar podcast, mantener conversaciones mientras escuchas música de fondo, en definitiva la tecnología es asombrosa ya que son de conducción ósea y no saturan el oído para nada en absoluto la autonomía es bastante buena, la distancia del bluetooth también , yo estoy encantado, si se me rompieran volvería a repetir sin dudarlo. Los recomiendo si totalmente, pero siempre sabiendo para lo que son, si quieres escuchar música con todos sus matices quizás no sea lo que estés buscando, en cambio si quieres comodidad, escuchar un audio decente y sobre todo no dañar a tús oídos, estos son tus cascos, un saludo y gracias.

Normaal beats koptelefoon gewend maar deze heeft meer comfort , is waterdicht en goede geluidskwaliteit zonder dat je de geluiden uit de omgeving mist. Een aanrader , je merkt niet dat je iets op hebt en blijft super zitten. Batterij heel snel opgeladen en lange speelduur +6u

Perfect fit to the head

I will preface this review by saying my partner has the Shokz Openmove and by comparison, the Openrun are definitely, definitely worth the additional cost. Compared to the Openmove they are far more comfortable, have a better charging system (USB-C plug in Vs magnetic cable) and have higher quality sound. I opted for the mini over the standard, I have (what I would say!) an avaerage size head and short hair and having tried the standard, found the standard 'bar' around the back of the head to be too long, the mini sits just right. The headset itself is light and comfortable, I can leave them on all day without noticing their presence, I also wear glasses and the Shokz sit right alongside without any issue. I will note that it's not really comfortable to lean back or lay onto the band so for this i still have a pair of in-ears. The battery is great, once charged I believe I have had up to 9 hours of continuous use, without continuous use but bluetooth enabled on my device, I can go a couple of days without having to recharge. The sound quality is great, whilst obviously not as good as a decent set of in ear or over ear heaphones, I still find the quality good enough to be able to hear nuances in my music, as a bonus wearing the headset is far less obstructing than in ear or over ear headphones. The fact that they sit over your ear rather than in means you can use them in a work environment whilst still being able to hold conversations or use them whislt travelling and be able to hear the environment around you. I have had my Shokz for just over a year now with daily use and have had no issues as of yet (fingers crossed), I cannot see myself going back. I will say, if you plan on buying Shokz, at the minimum buy a pair of Openrun, they can be had for £90 pretty regularly, any cheaper set and the overall quality is noticeably worse.
