Read the instructions and oil often
2nd UPDATE...A new felter was gifted to me. This time there are instructions. I use WD40 oil in the channel the needle goes through. Now there is no friction or getting stuck and the needle glides easily. I re-oil often. Also, the instructions say to not adjust the speed past the mid point on the dial. This keeps it from going to fast and burning up the motor. I wish the instructions were with the first tool, but thankful now. This machine is great. BTW Use safety glasses. The needle flew off on me. I think I was going to fast or on an angle. The safety glasses did their job. 1st uPDATE...on my second day, after using it for hours, the casing that the needle is housed/ moves through, might have melted from the friction. The needle wouldn't glide, it was stuck. I tried several needles from different sources. It's not the needle, but the machine. So disappointed. I have returned it. ORIGINAL REVIEW...It is light weight and the adjustable speed makes felting fast. Today I used it for hours non-stop. This has saved my hands and makes felting nonstressful on my hands. Thank you to the designer/engineer for creating this terrific machine.

So far so good
I had been eyeing this for awhile and was hesitant because some bad reviews and the cost. My hands get super tired felting large areas for long periods. When i opened box i was surprised no real instructions, i had to refer to a youtube video. I oil it once every use and so far it was withstood several weeks so a few hours of use without issue. I dont usually buy warranties but i did on this unit because it seems like it may not last eventually. But for now i am very happy!

Fantastic design!
I was so thrilled to get this product, and it has greatly increased my ability to move lots of wool. I applaud the few innovators in the world who have attempted to make an electric needle-felting machine. There aren't many out there! This is one of the best I've used so far. The machine has a nice feel -- it's easy to hold and not heavy. You can adjust the arm (though I haven't needed to yet), which is a great feature. And the speed dial is set to go from quite slow to very fast. It takes just a bit of time to get into the groove of which speed works best for your style and project, but once I did, it was simple to make the shape I wanted. When I turned the speed up super high, a piece fell off the unit. I was able to get it back on, so at this point, I don't believe I need to return the item. But I'll be a little cautious on high speeds. Also -- make sure to hold your project tightly when using the machine on high speeds. The needle has taken my project out of my hand a few times. But that's not a problem with the product! I just have to hold on when going fast! The only complaint I have is that on low speeds, the machine doesn't have quite enough power to push the needle deeply enough into already-firm felted pieces. Adding a small eye onto an already-firm felted head, for example -- in a case like that, the needle sometimes stops entirely when it hits the surface of the wool. But that's really only on the very slowest setting. In those cases, I just turn the machine off and push the needle in manually (holding the whole machine), as I normally would if I were doing the entire project without a machine. It might be a matter of my not having experimented enough with the product. Overall, I'm really pleased with this needle-felting machine. Again, they're hard to find on the market. And I'm SO happy to have found this one!

Power Port Stability Needs Improvement Badly, Had Issues Out of the Box
I've used one of these machines from the same brand for several years and was mostly satisfied with it, up until a few months ago where the power port on the bottom started to loosen and fall out. I secured it with electrical tape, which worked for awhile, but eventually after much fiddling and attempted fixes I had to order another one, hoping it would last as long as the last. It did not. Same issue with the power port, except this one started causing problems the moment I turned it on, wiggling loose and causing the cord to fall out. I would have returned it but I really needed it for a show, so I figured out if you tug the white cap on the end out far enough to squeeze some super glue on it and then press it back into the handle and secure with some electrical tape, it *mostly* works. I was okay with that issue from my old machine, since it ran so well for so long, but if it's starting to happen with brand new, out of the box machines, this is an issue the company really needs to work on. I would happily continue using machines from this company if the issue is addressed, but otherwise I'll have to search for other ways to make this hobby more accessible. *Edit*:Checked right after writing this and now it just doesn't work at all, even after being glued. So yeah, not super happy.

The Serious Felter Dream Machine!
So happy with this purchase! I save hours of tedious needle felting work with this Cupturner felting machine. Was skeptical at first and hesitated to purchase. However, I do so much felting with puppet making, that my hands begged me to purchase and try it. This little handheld machine works beyond my expectations and it very lightweight. Plus when pushing through the wool to catch onto the fiber threads and push them together, the machine barely moves unless you move it. This machine is so efficient that I already purchased more to store for day they stop making them. Highly recommend the Cupturner felting machine if you want to remove hours of laborious needle felting work from your schedule.

Works very well
The thing to remember with this machine is to not use it at full speed. It has more than enough power at half speed to do anything you need to do and then some. I oiled it as recommended and it doesn't over heat or show any signs of slowing down. I'll do more needle felting now because this little machine substantially takes the strain out of my hands and arms and increases productivity.

Very BAD instructions
Once I got it working is a great machine, get some sewing machine oil at same time you get this if you keep it well oiled it works great. I check it every 15 min to make sure it is not getting over heated. The one draw back is it took my husband and myself to set it up. The instructions are very poor. They need someone who is better at English and step by step pictures. Actually was going to return the first one ordered because could not get it together so got it all ready to return and said I wanted to reorder it because thought the first one had a screw missing . The new one had the same problem but suddenly we got it to work, had not mailed the first one back so kept them both.

Great at first.
It was fairly simple to get set up and use. It worked great for the first few projects. I didn't break needles and was very happy with it. I kept the machine in the middle of the sweet spot, as per recommendation, and upon the 4th or 5th use, with unplugging between uses, it stopped working. I checked for anything stopping it from moving, adjusted tension, and got a fresh needle. No luck, the engine was whirring inside, but no movement on the outside. It has great potential, but this missed thr mark.

110volts not suitable for Europe
This product is illegal for sale in Europe. It has a US plug which means 110volts and NOT 230! Don't buy it

This is a game changer
My husband gave me this Needle Felting Machine for Christmas, and I finally got around to using it today. I’m officially hooked. I’ve done needle felting by hand before, so I know how long (and stabby) it can be. This machine makes the process so much faster and more even. It gives a really nice, consistent finish without feeling bulky or overworked. It was straightforward to set up, runs smoothly, and feels sturdy — not flimsy or temperamental. I was half-expecting a learning curve, but it was surprisingly intuitive. If you enjoy felting but don’t enjoy poking yourself a hundred times per project, this is a game changer. I wish I had started using it sooner. Highly recommend for hobby felters who want to save time and their fingers.
