Shockproof Phone Case Cover for Samsung Galaxy J7 V 2017 (1st Gen) / Galaxy J7 2017 / Prime/Perx/Sky Pro/Halo [Black]

This case fits very well, is easy to apply (and remove, if needed). The cutouts are precise, though as others have noted, the side speaker is covered. Despite this, the sound quality, somewhat surprisingly, seems unaffected. The power and volume buttons work well with the case in place. It slides into a pocket easily, and cradles in the hand nicely. If there is any minor nit to pick, I would say that the polycarbonate outer shell material on the sides, where you typically grip the phone, is a little slicker than I would like. As I said, a minor point. It appears that it will provide reasonable shock protection, though fate has not yet tested that aspect of the case's performance. In sum, an attractive, functional, well-made case.

I've been using this case since I've purchased it Sept. 2017. Since using this case, my phone has been dropped too many times to count, has been thrown, slammed, drooled and chewed on by a toddler and baby, BUT, my phone still works perfectly fine. No damage on the phone, no cracked screen, NOTHING! And my phone has been thrown on the screen several times! This case has also protected my phone from water damage; my phone has been dropped in the sink twice while it was full of water. Immediately took the case off, and there really wasn't that much water IN the phone itself. Outside,a little, but not inside. I am a BIG fan of these cases. THEY WORK! If you have kids who are very handsy and like to grab everything in site, you NEED this case for your phone!

Well fitting case and appears to be good quality. The outside is kind of slippery.

i had dropped my Samsung Galaxy J7 SkyPro a couple of times in the last few weeks and chipped the corner of the cheap plastic case that came with the phone. i knew it was just a matter of time when i would do it again and perhaps break the screen. so i bought this case and it fits like a glove. the first layer is the soft rubber that protects the back and edges and it's held on the phone by adding the hard back cover. this case fits well and the buttons now work more easily than they did with just the phone itself. the back has a lot of hard plastic 'nibs' that give it some sticking power when laid on most surfaces and the soft edges are really easy to hold and give the feeling of security. Money Well Spent! highly recommended!

I really like this case, it is firm and sturdy. I like the full black, the only fault I find is that the case makes it hard to press or operate the buttons on the phone. You literally have to press down very hard to turn on phone or operate volume buttons. Overall it is a good case.

Previously, I purchased a different type of case, but found that it only had cutouts, where the power/volume buttons are. This just made it harder to to depress them to activate, so it went back. Luckily, I spotted this one. It has rubber type buttons, instead of just openings on the sides. Wow, this makes a big difference! These buttons very easily activate the volume / power, when pushed. Plus, it's just a bit thicker, with rubber protecting all sides. So much easier to hold! It fits my phone like a glove, and looks stylish, too. If your hands suffer from arthritis or carpal tunnel problems, this is a dream case. So easy to hold & I have not dropped it once! I love it!

Like the case. Nice design. Great for drop proof. It does protect the phone. The buttons on the sides are ridiculously hard!!

I purchased my phone, case, and screen protectors together, not expecting much based on previous reviews. Honestly, I chose this case because it happens to be my favorite color and shade (black is a shade, not a color. It is the absence of color.) After over a year and countless drops/throws/damage to this phone, the case remains remarkable unscathed! It has exactly 2 scratches and 1 tiny gouge. The phone itself has remain completely safe and has exceeded the product reviews when i bought it. I think the case has so much to do with that and I am super grateful! I can't afford to buy a new phone, so the investment in the case feels like a great decision! Thank you for the quality of the case! When I do finally upgrade my phone, I will definitely return to you guys to buy a new case!
