Pretty solid and accurate target practice
Looks great.just received today and opened it as I was so exited. Axe are made of solid metal and pretty heavy for the practice. Now inneed to build target practice in my backyard. So far I use through against a dead tree and its pretty awesome.

Finally Living Out My Viking Lumberjack Dreams
I bought this 3-pack of throwing axes thinking, “This will be a fun backyard hobby.” Two hours later, I’m shirtless, screaming battle cries, and demanding my neighbors refer to me as Ragnar the Splitter. These axes are the perfect size—not too big, not too small, just right for hurling at a wooden target (or, let’s be honest, an old fence panel you pretend wronged your family). They stick surprisingly well too! I expected them to bounce off and end up embedded in my foot, but no—these bad boys BITE into the wood like they’ve got a grudge. The fact that it comes with three is perfect: one for warming up, one for showing off, and one for that throw where you shout “THIS ONE’S FOR ODIN!” and miss completely but act like it was part of the plan. If you’re looking for a new way to impress your friends, frighten your HOA, or just work out some stress in the most primitive and satisfying way possible, this axe set is for you. 10/10. Would raid again.

Not great for throwing
They're not terrible, but they're not great for throwing. The convex blade shape makes it all but impossible to have them stick in the target correctly. They stick good if you hit the target with the point of the axe head. I can't say I expected much for $56~. Mine weren't very sharp and had a pretty bad burr down the length of the blades. But even after sharpening them and removing the burr they still won't stick in the target unless you hit the top point of the blade.

Good quality and well balanced. Easy to throw.
Great quality, throwing axes. Very sharp axe heads. They were shipped quickly. I don’t have any complaints about them. They feel good in your hand when throwing.

Fun.
I purchased these used for slightly less than new. They appeared to be in good condition. The heads had no chips or imperfections. They were not very sharp out of the box, but not dull. I don't recall any damage or marring of the handles. The handles are not an exact fit. I drove them into place by hitting the head end of the handle with a scrap piece of 2x3, after that, two of the heads are well seated into place. The third isn't, but only comes loose after several throws. The tomahawks come with tape to aid in fitting. I have opted not to use the tape as it doesn't seem necessary. As for my skill level (beginner) they function well. I've had fun throwing them at various wooden targets.

Great entry level throwing axes
Every house needs a set. They are a great weight and easy to throw. The handles can break from bad throws or getting hit by other axes, but they are easy to replace with straight handles from a hardware store or make your own.

Funn throwers but thinning out the blade makes the deeper biters

Great price for amateur level axe throwing
The steel axe portion doesn’t always stay at top of the handle. Strapping a rubber band just below prevents it from slipping. Easy fix. Otherwise, very content with product quality and price!

Great value for money; well made and lots of fun!
I always wanted to try axe throwing. Looked at the reviews and chose the Wicing. I am no pro thrower but these axes, with a little practice, make you look like one. The axe heads are very consistent in shape and weight. I had read that there are some casting marks on them. There are but it's purely cosmetic. It in no way affects the performance of these axes in my opinion. The wood handles fit the axe heads well. I pounded the heads on using a 6x6 post. They have never come loose and I have not had to use the tape that comes with them. I throw from 15' and the axes land consistently on their points. Find the distance that is right for you. Throwing hard decreases accuracy. I aim at the top of the butt and the axes land in the middle. These axes will be a bit on the heavy side for young kids. They are a ton of fun and are a great outdoor summer activity. I gave them a 4/5 but may change that depending on how well they hold up but so far they have been a good investment and I throw them a lot.

Throwing with ease
This product is great for any beginner, or seasoned axe throwing enthusiast. The blend of a longer shaft gives you the extra torque you need for a double rotation throw. I recommend these for an affordable quality axe.
