These jelly beans came in a nice plastic jar with a screw off lid with a handle. There are VERY MANY flavors. I tried several and they taste great. I have no idea what the folks who gave negative reviews got but these are fine. They are very chewy but I expected that. The kids will love them, too. Perfect for putting in eggs for the hunt.

Family loves them, container is perfect, handle is a nice touch. Great value.

Item was packaged very well and arrived in perfect condition. The jelly beans taste very fruity and juicy. I really like the chewy texture, some of the flavors are just ok but for the most part all of them are very enjoyable. I’ve never had these specific jelly beans before but i would definitely recommend them!

I purchased this for a quick snack. The first day of a couple of fist full was ok. The flavor was sugary but acceptable. But, one of the jelly beans I picked up the next day was utterly disgusting. As I bit into it, it felt like a bean full of liquid rather than solid candy. By the time I realized that it was too late. The jelly bean released an exceptionally acidic and very bitter ”juice”. It numbed my tongue and I nearly threw up. It was nothing short of disgusting! I don’t know what was in it, but it felt rotten and corrosive and very very bitter. Washing my mouth with water didn’t help. I proceeded to brush my teeth, and the interaction between that liquid and toothpaste made it feel worse. I followed up with mouthwash and couldn’t get rid of the terrible taste. I did experience a strong burning sensation on top of the bitterness. A closer look at the container showed that these are not made in the US. God knows what actually goes into them, and what level of cleanliness and food safety measures are in place. Based on my experience, it must be anything but good. I threw away the container of this product, and couldn’t imagine how something like that could happen. Whatever was in the bean was very potent. The jar was +98%full when it went to the garbage bin. In hindsight, I should have looked for additional defective beans based on how they felt when very gently squeezed (felt like a rubber balloon with liquid inside), but at that moment of feeling sick, all I wanted was to get rid of them. I know I will avoid this brand. It completely ruined our evening, and I am sure it wasn’t the only bad one in the jug. For now and foreseeable future, I can’t even imagine eating any jelly beans. Yes, the experience was that bad.

My husband LOVES jelly beans and I accidentally bought these instead of "Jelly Bellies" - he said these are GREAT! They tasted fresh and flavorful and more affordable.

We used these Gourmet Jelly Beans to help fill eggs for our Easter Egg Hunt. Of course during a packing party I had to sample a few: the flavor variety and taste rival a well-known national brand. We had enough candies in one tub to fill about 120 eggs with 4-5 in each plus a small toy and Christian Easter stickers.

I guess I expected regular jelly beans but these are smaller and less flavorful. I will not buy them again. 👎🏽
