I don’t write a lot of reviews, but had to hop on here to write one for this bed. I went back and forth on choices and read all the reviews and so glad I purchased this one. It’s beautiful and sturdy. I really love how well made it is for an Amazon purchase. The slates are nice also. They Velcro down so it stays in plays and there’s some padding for them also so it’s quiet and supportive. Just really impressed with this. We upgraded to a king and I was worried about getting something sturdy and cute. All pieces were included with some backup pieces. It was not difficult at all to put together. I’m a 39 year old women and I could do this by myself without extra tools and it didn’t take too long. The box was very, very heavy so I chose the option for delivery to put it in the room of my choice. I definitely recommend this. Once you open the packaging, the pieces are not as heavy to move around and put together but so hard to move full box and I think it weighed around 130lbs. I also like the storage space below. There is enough room to slide some shorter storage boxes. I ordered the brown one and just a heads up that it is a little bit lighter than the pictures but still very nice. Based on other reviews I think it will vary, some of them were a bit darker looking than mine. It doesn’t match very well with some of my other items but it’s good to know it’s wood and you can stain it if it’s an issue. I wish the little matching drawers they sold to match were not as pricey because might be hard to match it to your other pieces. Also be cautious about opening the slats. I used scissors to remove all the wrappping and they come in two different sets and are all connected so I accidentally cut one. It still fit well and was not a problem, but it was the only issue I had. I highly recommend if you want some stable, real wood, and well made that is not as pricey as the other beds. Overall it’s one of my favorite Amazon purchases so far.

We are absolutely thrilled with our new bed frame and headboard! Made from real wood, it exudes durability and quality. The design is well thought out, down to the slats which are secured with Velcro to keep them firmly in place—a brilliant touch! Assembly was a breeze. The instructions estimated 45 minutes, but we had it put together in just 30. The clear and concise instructions made the process straightforward and even enjoyable. We're so impressed that we're planning to buy two more for our kids' rooms. Highly recommend this bed frame and headboard to anyone looking for a sturdy and stylish addition to their bedroom.

We needed to replace our king size bedframe because it was too high from the ground. This bed frame helped lower the overall height of our bed due to not needing the box springs anymore but we still have ample space underneath. You could use for storage underneath although we don't. It's also easy to assemble and looks nice. It's a little on the yellow side in appearance. But it still matches our lighter blonde wood bedroom decor fairly well. Definitely less noisy than our last frame!

Very sturdy. Well packaged. I bought used, like new, and it was. All parts labeled and carefully wrapped. Instructions were clear with labels and illustrations. The slats are exactly 3.5 inches apart and well secured to the frame. Delivery guys actually carried it into my house, which I very much appreciated! I took my time and still had it put together and the bed made in 2 hours by myself (age 67 female). One of the screws and the thingy it screws into just wouldn't work, but they included extras, and those worked perfectly. All holes were well drilled and matched up very nicely. I included pictures so you know how it looks with a 14" mattress and 4 pillows leaning against the headboard (under/behind the quilt). Still plenty of headboard sticking up above the pillows. Tip: put Super Sliders under all the feet before you put the slats on.

I ordered this bed in a King size and paid $449 + tax. Before purchasing, I shopped for a new bed for at least a full month - one that would be the base of my new master bedroom redecorate project. I was going for a Boho meets Scandinavian Mid Century Modern vibe. This bed met my needs and wants perfectly. I received the bed within 3-4 days of purchase. It came in a single, very long box that I had to help the UPS delivery driver bring up the stairs! It took my daughter about 2 hours to get it out of the box & fully assembled - all by herself. She said that the assembly was simple and straightforward.The bed is exceptionally sturdy. It's just the right amount of heavy... AND it's BEAUTIFUL!!! The value for this bed simply can't be understated! It really is a unbelievably good deal, and I am so happy I found it!

As parents, our bed mostly sees two completely exhausted adults collapsing into it and hoping no one asks us for a glass of water after bedtime. So it's safe to say this frame wasn't exactly being put through Olympic-level stress. Unfortunately, it started squeaking far sooner than expected. And not a cute little squeak... the kind that announces to the entire neighborhood that someone just rolled over to get comfortable. If you don't mind your next-door neighbors wondering what's going on every time you change positions, this bed frame has you covered. The good news is my husband is handy and was able to reinforce and rebuild part of the frame, and it's been much better since. If you're comfortable making a few modifications yourself, this could still work for you. If you're expecting a sturdy, quiet frame right out of the box, you may want to keep shopping.

I’ve had this bed for two years and it had to go through two moves. The first assembly was tricky, but once I realized that there was a YouTube video, I got it built pretty easily by myself. It reassembled well after both moves and is still quite sturdy. Definitely a great value for your money!

It’s very sturdy it looks beautiful. I only had two downsides to it – one was that it was delivered twice in damaged shape by the third time it did come intact. Maybe thicker packaging would’ve made a difference I don’t know. There are better ways to assemble bullet in the secrets of a bed for the photos. There is a metal beam down the center of it. That should be the first thing you assemble, because that will hold up the headboard while assembling the sides. They have some ridiculous method of lay the Footboard on its face, putting on the side boards on there with no screws in it and somehow tipping it over which is stupid because it will break off the dowels. Look at the instructions I knew that would be flawed so I did it my way. And I didn’t have these balancing act issues

Sturdy, easy assemble, love it

I had this bed ordered twice, the first time, it did not arrive, the second time I was sent the wrong item entirely. It was a fight to get a refund. In theory the pictures look great, the price looks good…but to never actually receive the item leaves me leaving a low star review.
