Just received the charger a few minutes ago. So far it works great. I like the way the outer rubber feels when compared to other off brands, it looks and feels very similar to the actual steam deck charger. I really dig the device that came with it that allows you to plug it in at an angle, while keeping the charging cord straight. I have hope that this will help extend the the cords lifespan to get the most out of charging cords. I usually stick to the legit steam deck chargers which have last typically over 2 years each at the leastleast, I still use the second OEM charger. Though it's getting a bit frayed now , but I was in need of another extra because the emergency charger I bought a few months ago, initially worked well, and suddenly died the other day. So with that said I will continue to update every few months or so to show a record of how long the cord actually lasts. I have good feelings about this one though, I have heard good things about JSAUX and their quality products. And can I say that I am EXTREMELY happy to actually have a 10 foot cord this time. This is sure to make kickin back and playing on charge.... So much more comfortable, especially now where I moved, with the plugs so weirdly spaced. I'm satisfied with my purchase

I have a Steam Deck OLED that I love. It uses a lot of power though, so I like to keep it plugged in while I am playing it. I work from home so I don't have a commute and therefore I leave it plugged in pretty much all the time. I do like to play in bed at night and I also like to play in different rooms around the house so I decided to buy an extra charger. So naturally, the Steam branded charger is sold out everywhere and trying to find a charger that "works" with the Steam Deck OLED specifically was a special sort of challenge. I have been using this for weeks and it works perfectly. It doesn't cause any issues with the device such as crashing or locking up or refusing to charge or anything like that. You just plug it in and it works just like the charger that came with the deck. The price is good, the technology is solid, the cord is nice and long and it feels like it has the right thickness to it. All in all - an excellent extra charger for your Steam device or replacement charger.

Great charger for the Steam Deck or Switch. JSAUX chargers are the only non-oem chargers I will use on my SteamDeck/Switch/ROG Ally. This particular charger is not powerful enough for the ROG Ally but it isn't intended to be. I am almost always happy with the quality when I order from JSAUX.

Sadly it stopped working today April 2025. I bought it back on Feb 2024. To be honest I cant complain about it. It has been used every single day to charge laptop, tablets, phone and steam deck. I wished it would have lasted longer. That 10ft cable is clutch to be able to charge and lay down on sofa. I probably wore it down from bending cable while using phone on couch.

Edit: when the cord died IT TOOK MY STEAM DECK WITH IT! I don't care if the cord died. It's a cord. It's replaceable. I'm looking at a 185 dollar minimum bill to get my steam deck repaired as it no longer charges from ANY source. Fabulous. Absolutely ridiculous. Further edit: got a new one. Went with a 5 foot cord, figured I'd live (slight regret) but it didn't come with the 90 degree adapter, and apparently the only way I can fix that is to return the whole thing and buy a new one, but I need the cord now, so I guess I'm sol. Fantastic. Edit: well. I don't know why but the main one I used has stopped working all together. Scared the hell out of me cause I also use it on my phone and my phone DIED and was displaying a weird symbol when I plugged this into it. It's not even putting out low power. My deck was plugged into this all night and it's still dead. Plugged it into my phone and it didn't start charging. Alas. Worse, I don't know where the spare is. Got two of the 10 foot cables, one for my dock (the cable that came with the deck was too short) and one for when I'm handheld, since the one that came with the deck was a smidge short for my setup. Nice and long. Puts out enough power to charge the deck. The added jack to change the angle was useless for the deck since the plug is on top, however, I'm using it on my switch charger so that the cord isn't poking me when I play that. 2 for one deal!

This was at good price that I bought to leave at my trailer so I dont have to bring the charger back and forth. Good Quality and I like the look and feel of this one better than the original that comes with the steam deck.

Tengo la base para el steamdeck de esta marca y funcionan los dos muy bien, el cargador se ve de muy buena calidad y además se parece mucho al cargador original asi que eso le da un plus.

This aftermarket charger is a champ! After 4 hours of heavy gaming, playing GoTG, and Dragon's Dogma, which both drain my Deck battery quickly, it kept the charge at 100% the whole time, despite running my dock, the full HDMI to my big screen, the cooling fans AND my spare gamepad charger. Originally bought one at half the price to try to save some $$. Yeah... that one got returned within 24hrs it couldn't even keep the HDMI cable working... and my battery drained 20% in a half hour and kept dropping signal to my tv while plugged in (which the Deck can do just fine on its own, off battery power). This JSAUX unit is fantastic by comparison. I should've saved myself the time and just got this one on the first try. My other JSAUX accessories have never let me down either. I should have known better... but live and learn... No, I'm not sponsored by them, nor have I taken any consideration for my review, just a happy customer - but I am definitely going to buy JSAUX accessories for my Steam Deck from now on, first time, every time.
