Best suitcase I've ever owned
I love this suitcase, its big, its hard & its racing green! You can pack just about anything in here & know that whatever the baggage handlers do to it...it will always come back in one piece. Despite its size it is very easy manoeuvre thanks to 4 wheels on the base when standing up & a retractable handle. I will have this suitcase for a very long time ;)

Perfect suitcase, I have the same version 5 years ...
Perfect suitcase, I have the same version 5 years old and used it traveling a lot of and the only thing that I had to do was to replace one wheel that Samsonite sent me by posting at free charge, now I have to buy one more suitcase and for the explained before I decided to buy the same Samsonite Aeris Spinner. Fully recommend.

Super spinning suitcase
Fab case. Bright colour means you can see it easily on the carousel too. Protects the contents with the harder material used. We dive and ski so this case protects our dive gear and ski helmet & boots etc. It's so easy to wheel along in the airport especially when carrying skis too. This case also has clips to fasten it which I like as lots of similar cases on the market have zip fasteners that surely must come away from the case eventually so therefore will not last as long I'm sure. All in all, this case is worth the extra cost because of these features.

Great, large capacity suitcase that glides well
It is a very sturdy, stable suitcase which can easily handle the maximum permissible weight for check-in luggage (32 kg). It is extremely voluminous so it is easy to overload, so I recommend being careful when filling this suitcase. The wheels glide well, and the suitcase shell protects the content very well, because it cannot be pressed down as much as most polycarbonate suitcases with zips. It did not let any rain in, thanks to the rubber seal between two halves, despite having been left outside in heavy rain by baggage handlers, which my other suitcase with a zip let in quite a bit of rain and the contents got quite wet. It is heavier than some of the lightest polycarbonate cases but the sturdiness of this suitcases makes it worthwhile to have the extra weight. You can put a suitcase belt around horizontally on this suitcase, unlike some other Samsonite hard shell models which do not mix well with a horizontal suitcase belt due to the way the handle is designed. I was worried about the lack of a separate handle at the top and hotel belldesk staff and taxi drivers picking up the suitcase by the "retractable" handle at the top, but no damage has occurred despite their picking up the full weight by the handle at the top. I suspect the handle is very sturdy. A word of warning though - because the location of the retraction button being quite unusual, some belldesk staff and taxi drivers won't know how to retract it and start hitting it to see it would retract. The reason for not giving it a 5 star is that the lower edge of the case at the front can develop somewhat jagged edges if it is handled roughly. I think the edge works to protect the wheels from damage but it is a disadvantage in some ways (jagged edges can catch your clothes made of delicate fabric, so I recommend being careful - you can gently sand it down with sanding paper to remove those edges, although the surface won't look quite the same once you have done that).

Light weight and easy to pull around
Bought this for long haul holidays and its very strong takes a lot of stuff so beware you don't go over airport baggage limits but as its on wheels easy to pull around and did I mention gets loads of stuff in . A very Basic case with no zip to break just three strong catches combination lock so no keys to lose. Also got it for a great price compared to shop prices for Samsonite cases

An excellent suitcase and great value...
I wanted clamps rather than a zip to improve the stability of the case and the best thing I can say about this case is that it's a modern version of the classic Samsonite Oyster which is the best and most durable suitcase I have ever owned. Highly recommended.

Did the Job
It has met my requirements, a little worried when it came off ramp on first flight with a dent but that recovered. If it is still going in 20 years I will know it was a good buy!

Lock jammed on 2nd trip, had to break it when I returned home
Locked jammed and wouldn't open on 2nd trip I took. In my favour it was the last day of my trip. I have another samsonite case I bought 20 years ago and the combination lock still works on it. This version lasted 1 trip. I returned it to Amazon and got a refund, I will never buy a Samsonite case again after my experience of being on holidays with all my items locked inside the case, I had to wait to get home to break the lock as was afraid if I broke it abroad I might not be able to travel with it. My advice is buy something else.
