My english bulldog likes the taste but it's just a treat. Doesn't seem to help her allergies at all. She gets the reccomended dose for her weight daily, but she's still itchy everyday, and has hives. It smells like speggetti sausage to us but my dog likes it.

My dog is a Rhodesian Ridgeback pittbull mix, and he is such a great dog to my family. During the summer he broke out in hives and started having allergies, bumps, scratches, and open skin on his snout, inner arm pits, belly, and his paws. He started to chew off some of the paw padding until he bled. I was wondering if at this point he was infected by some mite or parasite. I was even wondering if it was a fungal thing or just a heat rash from this summer. I did a whole bunch of research and started looking around for prebiotics mixed with allergy medication or ingredients to cover the part if he was just having a heat rash, I even looked around for antifungal shampoo to cross out the fungal part, I started to medicate his wounds with beading and triple antibiotic ointments and stopped giving him dog food for 3 days... I only gave him prebiotic protein rich foods such as coconut oil, Greek yogurt, eggs, rice, natural chicken broth with chicken meats...etc. I slowed his feeding g down from 3x a day to 2x per day... all in all his rash and wounds started healing. My conclusion as a google researching civilian and a licensed human nurse is that...he had a heat rash. In the end of it all, he got better over time, but gets his bouts of rashes when he is left in the back yard when we are at work...he has a shade and plenty of water and toys, but I'm guessing he is just sensitive.

This product caused my dog to itch all day and he was so u comfortable. He has not ever scratched and flopped around so much. This was after the 2nd day he received the “treats”. We have discontinued giving him these obviously and will likely trash them since there is no return option.The smell is terrible and much worse than the last brand he was on. We have gone back to the previous brand that is sold at Petsmart.

Seem to work .

Great quality, price, but dog does not like pills too big even for large dog. Can't ask the dog if he did not like taste.
