How do these differ from the suit hangers besides the pant bar?

These have grips on the shoulders. The pant hangers do not (those just have grips on the pant bar).

Why is it that a customer can only order 20 hangers? I need more of them.

You would just have to up the quantity of how many you need! So instead of order 1 go to 2 or 3! So say you needed 100 you would change the quantity to 5!

What is the width of the top part of the hanger? Where one could write a name in the middle? And the thickness of the arms of the hanger?

1/4" on the top of the hangers and down the arms. And I definitely think you could write a name in the middle. These are sturdy hangers and I love them for sweaters because of the grips.

In the product desription the dimensions state 9 3/4 " wide by 6 1/2" wide - That seems really small. Is that a misprint?

A misprint. I measured what I received and they are 11 X 17
