Does it genuinely fit to the car's centre console? (I don't get why anyone would fit this to the back of a seat, in the face of the rear passenger.)

Hello I have mine behind the front passenger seat. It’s in the perfect place to reach out and deposit rubbish without taking your eyes of the road. Depending on what you intend to throw in, it’s better behind the seat and it’s not in tye passengers face. Obviously depending on how much room you have. Worse case scenario place in the front seat passenger footwell. Hope this helps
