This fan has made a huge difference in lowering the temperature of our bedroom. The outside air is cold at night year round, but my bedroom window faces towards another house, so there’s no wind to force cooler air in. I got this to pull outside air in at night and it’s done a fantastic job. The airflow is strong and noticeable. It can lower the temperature of the room by about 5-10 degrees (depending on the weather). Some things to note: Only the 2020 version allows you to control each fan independently to exhaust or intake. I didn’t realize this and was bummed out. If I need to change the air flow direction, I can just flip the fan around, but I hoped I could do it with a switch. It’s a bit loud on High. That brown noise old-school fan sound. We didn’t like it at first, but our brains quickly tuned it out. If you’re sensitive to sound, this might bug you. It fits great in a horizontal window and the extender works great. The temperature settings work, but I did notice that the fan can switch on and off repeatedly if the outside air temp matches the indoor temp. Overall, BUY IT. It’s great and I hope it holds up.

This fan is amazing!!! i can keep it on exhaust and not freeze out my wife but still have enough circulation and noise so i can sleep. 10 out of 10 would recommend but............ WHAT EVER YOU DO...... DO NOT BUY A USED LIKE NEW FAN!!! ** I first ordered one that was supposed to be "like new". i was flabbergasted at the fan the company sent. It was horrendous!!!! 1. the fan was dirty like it had been used for 6 months !! 2. when i plugged it in i heard a pop and saw a spark..... I un plugged it and the cord almost came off of the fan...it was hardly attached! I am so lost as to why a company would think it was ok to send a fan to a costumer in that condition. dirty i could have delt with but it was unsafe to use.....

This window fan works well and has adjustment where it can blow at low or high volume and speed. The temp settings are from 60 to 89 degrees and will shut off the fans when the intake air temp drops below the temp settings. Interesting for me, because this fan was to replace a digitally controlled fan that had one fan faulty, making noise while stopping from turning finally got to be too loud and ackward to use. This simple operation should keep me happy with this fan.

Fan fits window snugly and expands to fit multiple window sizes. Noise level is low. It cools or exhausts nicely. Quality unit is easy to operate. Electric plug in type. Multiple power levels. Value for money.

Kind of awkward but gets the job done. Noisy even on low setting. Does not balance upright on its own and needs to lean or the wind will blow it down, the side thingies do not provide any stability.

I use this in the night time a lot and boy it moves enough air. It’s powerful. I open a second window to help more air be pulled in the room. I have a screen on my window and it fits perfectly fine. I don't like the temperature settings on it, it doesn’t really work well. Just put it in the window if you need outside air and keep in on high. It’s basically plug in play on hot easy it is to setup. Best bang for ur buck.

I only had this fan for six months and one of the blades stopped turning already. Since the return window closed I am now stuck with a broken fan so do not buy this

I'm a very hot person, so fans are important to me. This window fan works well. The air flow on high is good for this type and size of fan, and I'm perfectly happy with it. The noise level is the same as any other fan like this... actually, the low setting is very quiet IMO. Is this my dream fan? No. Ideally, I would like it if it had a bug screen for that price. I would also prefer it to be mechanical instead of digital, because with digital, I can turn ot off using alexa voice commands, but not on, since it resets to off when the power is cut. So that is a bit of a bummer - i was dumb and didn't think if that when i ordered. Also, I agree that the thermostat feature is useless. There is seriously no point to it. Luckily, this fan works fine just using the high and low settings. I will never use the thermostat settings. Finally, the light that stays on when you use it is bright, which could bug people.

Al final el ventilador no funcionó para lo que lo necesitaba (la ventana de la cocina) pues sólo tenía una dirección de flujo de aire y era hacia el lado de los controles de funcionamiento del mismo, que al no poder instalarlos hacia afuera (por lo impráctico que sería esto), decidí regresarlo.

It works good, blows a decent amount of air

Almost 5 stars. I've search far and wide for window fans that will properly fit in our house. Our opening is just bigger than 21.5 inches. These fit in perfectly. My only criticism of these units is how you have cycle through all the fan settings. There's so many settings it's a little annoying. Otherwise these are very quiet, and seem to be good quality. I bought one 2 yrs ago, and it's still working perfectly fine. Bought two more because I was so happy with the first!!!

We used it to pump out dusty air as we sanded down the basement dry wall, and it is a workhorse. Worked perfect!
