Absolutely easy to use, see my video. Just plug it into your computer, press the ON/OFF switch, the digital display will jump to show that the mouse mover is running, and the other is the mode button, with 3 tracks to choose from.

How does this work? does the computer recognize this as a mouse and the usb device moves internally? or is there code that is run?

This device communicates with the PC as though it were a generic, USB mouse. It sends the same type signals that your mouse would send. It randomly sends up, down, left, right mouse signals which move the pointer randomly as though you were moving an actual mouse randomly.
