The top of the ram IS 1.084", (NOT 1 and 1/8 inches). The cylinder raising that top IS 1.1 inches (NOT slightly wider at 1.25 inches). The base of the unit is roughly IS 3.7" x 3.85 " (NOT 3.5" x 4.5") and IS approximately 7" (NOT 9") tall before raising ram.

Why is the 6 ton cheeper

The 6-ton is a single cylinder, the 4 & 8 ton jacks are compound (double) cylinders. The double cylinders are lower to start and have more extension. You pay for the extra stroke.

Can i use one of this to lift my toyota tacoma double cab to do oil change or tire rotation? i have two jack stands to help if needed.

You might have to use a 4x4 or 4x6 under it depending on how much ground clearance you have under the lift point(s), but it'll surely lift that truck. As a matter of face, you could lift the whole truck at one time if you could figure out a way to balance it - certainly NOT recommended. And yes, jack stands are highly recommended. After setting the jack stands, I usually leave my jack under the vehicle with just a tad of tension just for additional safety.
