Good value
Works better than expected. I'm new to fly tying but it's a very cool product, especially the different types!

Decent stuff but you need to know the limitations of this type of glue
I canโt really compare this with other similar products so Iโm reluctant to even write a review, but I figure I should warn people about what it isnโt good for, and what it is. First, all of these formulas are good (havenโt need the โflexโ one yet though) for what theyโre good for. They cure hard in reasonable time under the UV light they come with. Theyโre very hard without being brittle and also very clear. Theyโre also very sticky and will probably stick to many more materials than usual. These are the problems with this type of glue in general though: 1) they wonโt cure if the UV curing light is obstructed. This limits their usefulness for gluing opaque objects together. So far Iโve mostly used them to glue down wires or strings, or put a very hard, durable, transparent coating over some sort of small label. And of course this stuff is great for transparent plastic. 2) after curing the glue always has a sticky residue on it. Most of this can be removed by washing with soap and water in cases where thatโs an option. Wiping with alcohol also helps. The rest probably gets rubbed off, evaporates, or whatever over time. Trying to remove it can roughen the surface and make it a slightly more cloudy though. Also be aware than these glues need UV-A light to cure. UV-C germicidal lights, for example; wonโt work unless they also happen to produce enough UV-A which they shouldnโt if there any good. Issues with this particular product: 1) the bottles seem too leaky for some reason. Not a huge issue but no matter how well I close them the outside always gets sticky 2) lack of information on approximate chemistry in use (acrylic, styrene, etc)

Great Value!
I use a lot of UV resin for holding down wires and electronics components, and as a quick binder/filler material for all kinds of repairs and finishing defects . Itโs easy to build depth/shape by holding in one hand both the bottle and the turned-on lamp (facing away from each other) and then alternating between dispensing and illuminating to build material in a controlled manor. The tips help with this by controlling the flow nicely - use them ! As I find ever more uses for this stuff, it goes fast and Iโm on a constant hunt for the cheapest source of the resin โand I think this is it. This brand hardens nicely- often with that nice little puff of smoke indicating a good, aggressive curing. It can exhibit a slight tackiness after curing - which Iโve seen in other โvalueโ UV brands - but this is not an indication that it hasnโt cured, and the sticky coating can be removed with alcohol, or, alternatively, by sanding.

BOTTLES LEAK
I just opened my box of UV Clear Glue, with three bottles (Thick, Thin, and Super Flew) as well as the LED light. Two of the bottles leaked--one of them enough to wet itself all over, a second just around the base of the nozzle where it meets the bottle. That's disappointing, as is the lack of guidance on some of the finer points of use (like the extra tips, for example, or the proper way to load the batteries into the light--at first it looked like it required flat disks, and the "3AAA battery as drive switch" descriptor is pretty useless. I did test the glues, and they perform as I have been led to expect--although I should say that I am not in any way an expert on glues: it seems clear that, as others have pointed out, they are indeed not glues, but resins; they are not meant to stick two things together, but to harden around themselves--a drop of this will become a hard piece of plastic when exposed to UV light. All three, within their particular limits, will encase an object (a fly, or a knot) and form a hard cocoon around it. No problem there, and the light works as advertised, although it does seem a bit flimsy. One piece of advice for Riverruns: QUALITY CONTROL. The Chinese are not doing it, obviously, so you have to. And for all that's holy EDIT the text on the box! "Vidcous" "Easy to repair and stretch" (?) and the battery description are NOT hard to fix. That way YOU don't look like you find English is a mysterious language. Don't leave your customers figuring out stuff you should have explained.

Am by reading that price correctly?
Look: "Riverruns" ยฉ TM has the best products for the best prices. This is the voice of experience speaking here. I have purchased over 10 different bottles of various UV resins and own 3 different UV flashlights. You can stop looking. You found the best deal here. This kit is a great example. You are paying $19 USD (where other companies charge $80 USD). Why are you still looking? This kit comes with a thick (viscus) resin, a thin watery quick dry quick layering resin, and it comes with one that cures to a rubbery flexible plastic. Honestly. And as accessories they give you applicator needle tips... and a friggin UV flashlight! Wow what a deal! Yeah, BYOB to this party! ( bring your own batteries). (FYI: If you want to get needle tips on the cheap just go to any pharmacy and ask them for sharps. They are free and you can grind them blunt. They fit the end of these bottles. Keep the cover to the needles and you have hermetic seals. Yeah...your welcome.) Now you're all set, so get busy on that honeydew dinner and fix something, then fix something also, then fix something else. Best best $19 you haven't spent.

Not Glue, or UV setting!
This is NOT glue, nor does it seem to be UV reactive. I attempted to glue a 1.2mm thick 3d printed token to a mirror of the token (thus making it double sided and only 2.4mm thick) and the glue would NEVER set. I tried THREE different UV lights and left it for 10mins and the two items still slid apart, wet on the back. NOTE the UV light could easily penetrate the 1.2mm (about 1/32nd of an inch) plastic as I could see the light through the full 2.4mm (1/16th inch) object. Also, there were no instructions in the box for what the three extra tips were suppose to do, or how to use them (they don't fit on the tip of the bottle). Sadly I waited to long to return, so let my painful lesson be your saving grace...
