Wind 3 FM Bluetooth Handlebar Speaker, Black

The JBL Wind 3 FM Bluetooth is a fantastic little portable speaker and I especially like the quick release mount for handlebars. I attached it to my mobility scooter with ease. The treble and bass is incredible coming from such a small package and battery life is extreamly good. I estimate close to ten hours of run time and I charge it using my scooter USB C accessory connector so it’s never a problem. This unit easily compares to Bose SoundLink Micro Portable Bluetooth Speaker (2nd Gen), but does not come with a mounting mechanism is disappointing. However, Both are built extremely well and durable and equally sound great. Pricewise, the JBL is the winner and I would definitely buy it again if I had a second scooter.

I like to listen to music when my wife and I ride, but I don’t like wearing earbuds because I can’t hear cars coming, other traffic noises, or my wife. This speaker mounted easily and has great sound. Took the bikes out for the first time a couple of days ago, and it worked perfectly. It was exactly what I was looking for.

I have this on the handlebars of my e-bike. Great sound when out on the roadway. Works flawlessly with my iPhone. The attachment to the handlebar is also very solid.

Nice sound. Be careful with clip as it breaks easily. Works for phone calls (no mic, must use phone mic), stream music from phone and radio all while riding.

Excellent choice for bike riding with music, especially in California where bike riding with earphones is illegal.

The good: the unit works, sound is pretty good for the size, Bluetooth connection is easy to establish and stable. Battery life is ok, though does down much faster if you pay it loud.Middle news: the fm radio sensitivity and selectivity are not great. I think this was clearly an afterthought.Bad news: the mount is pretty bad. The unit is somewhat heavy because of the battery and speaker magnet, and because of the shape of the mount, the whole thing extends as a rather long "arm" from the handlebars. This sets up a strong vibratory mode, causing the device to shake when going even over moderately rough pavement.This is made worse by the fact that no matter how tight you turn the attachment screw, the unit will rotate over time. On my bike it turns over the handlebars, away from the rider.The worst: when the unit is on the mount and going over a bumpy road, it rattles. Rattling is not ok in an audio device.The worst of this can be mitigated by replacing the included spacer rubber pieces with harder ones of your own. I was able to stop the rattle by adding some stick-on rubber pads in strategic locations on the mount's clip section. The loop half of Velcro tape might work even better.Overall, it's ok, but I don't think they tested on actual bicycles very much.

I've owned a lot of JBL products in the past (and currently own more than a few). They have great sound, but I was never quite happy with the sound quality on some of the lower cost models (the Clip for example). I am not a bike rider but I wanted a clip-on speaker for working outside and walking/hiking, and found this by accident. I got it today and hooked it up - I can't speak for battery life, but regarding everything else:- Very easy to connect my phone via Bluetooth, the instructions are very clear;- The FM radio is a nice bonus, and it is VERY clear! I pick up most channels in my area extremely well. I only listen to the radio during emergencies/power outages but that may change. The channel scanning is very easy and intuitive IMO.- The sound quality overall is fantastic for what this speaker is - clear sound (some bass) and it can sound tinny until I adjusted my EQ on my iPhone. But still, even at first listen, I was surprised at how good the sound was out of this tiny little unit. Also, it's much louder than I expected (but I assume that has to be the case for a product called "Wind" designed to be used while riding a bike).It's perfect for what I will use it for, and the price is on point for the features and quality it delivers, very pleased.

Bastante bueno, excelente calidad de sonido. El único detalle, noto un poco simple el soporte, necesito probarlo en bajada muy técnica y ver que tanta vibración soporta. Pero en general excelente.

The radio sometimes has static noise but works well overall. The handle bar mount needs to be more modular so it can fit any size and won't break if stretch to wide.

Llevo casi 8 meses usando diario mi bocina y la verdad es que pienso que ha sido una compra que ha valido bastante la pena. La uso en mi motocicleta para ir y venir del trabajo y la batería me dura aproximadamente unos tres días (que serían unos 6 viajes de 30 minutos aproximadamente) en modo BASS, aunque no tengo tanto problema ya que tengo un puerto de carga en la moto. Cuando la compré tenía un poco de miedo respecto al soporte, ya que veía que muchos se quejaban de ese detalle, pero yo no he tenido ningún problema, no se ha aflojado, mucho menos se ha quebrado y la bocina nunca se ha caído de su soporte. Otra cosa súper importante es que sí es a prueba de agua (la he usado en días lluviosos) y de caídas (varias veces se me ha caido de las manos o la mochila) y sigue funcionando perfectamente bien. El único detalle es que no tiene un volumen tan potente y en un lugar con mucho tráfico y ruido es más difícil escucharla, pero a pesar de eso tiene muy buenas calidad de sonido. Al menos desde mi experiencia la recomiendo mucho.
