These work great for descaling! I embarrassingly didn’t know I had to de-scale my machine, and it stopped working for a while. My biggest tip: watch a YouTube video on de-scaling your specific nespresso machine and it will walk you through step by step. Sooo much easier than reading the instructions on their website!

I descale my Nespresso at least twice a year. This is the only descaling kit I trust. I follow the video on YouTube each time, because I can never remember the functions (there's literally two button on my Nespresso machine). After using this descaling kit, the warning light on the machine is immediately resolved, and it seems to last around 6 months (we make about 4-5 cups of coffee per day).

I purchased this for my Nespresso machine and have used one pack so far it works the same as the ones that you buy directly from the Nespresso store, so the quality does not change. I also didn’t personally find that it had a distinct smell.

The product is standard, but for what's important is that's its the official brand. I tried to follow online video instructions but they were not entirely accurate and different lights lit up, so I'd advise to use your instruction manual when you descale. I'm assuming the machine needs to be descaled around once every three months or so.

È facilissimo da usare e, a differenza dei prodotti universali o dell'aceto che rischiano di rovinare i circuiti interni, questo è studiato appositamente dal produttore e si vede. Dopo ogni trattamento la macchina torna come nuova: il caffè esce decisamente più caldo, la pompa è meno rumorosa e l'aroma del caffè migliora nettamente. Prezzo online spesso più conveniente che in boutique. Consigliatissimo per allungare la vita alla macchina! ATTENZIONE PERÒ AI CICLI DI PULIZIA! Vi lascio un consiglio fondamentale per non rovinare tutto: dopo il primo ciclo di risciacquo/pulizia, tenete spenta la macchina per almeno un minuto e mezzo (e fate lo stesso anche per i successivi). Non abbiate fretta nel far partire i cicli uno dietro l'altro, altrimenti rischiate seriamente che si friggano la pompa o la caldaia per il surriscaldamento!
