Works as expected for the price
I have found that these solar pumps aren't long lasting, so don't expect it to work for years. This is the only one I've purchased that lasted more than a season and I run it year round. I simply turn over the panel if freezing temps are expected, which isn't often in the southwest where I live. It works just fine in my small bird bath that doesn't require a forceful output. The cord is long enough to be in the sun all day, where the bird bath itself is in the afternoon shade.

So far, so good!
I bought this pump back in May 2022, so I've had it running continuously in my birdbath for 3 months. So far, it has held up very well. It only operates at full strength/pressure when it's in full sun, otherwise it just pulses, but that's to be expected from something that is solar powered. However, when it's full sun, it's a good strong spray all day. NOTE: you do need to clean this thing maybe every couple weeks. We have hard water where I live, so I started to notice a chalky white buildup on the surface after a month or so. You have to clean that or it blocks the solar panels. Also, you MUST clean the filter. You just pry the larger black box off the back (the little spigot hole is attached so you'll pull that whole mechanism away from the disc), pluck out the little filter, and rinse it out in the sink. I thought my pump had stopped working, but once I scrubbed away the hard water stains and cleaned the filter, it started working again like the day I got it. Great little pump!

Great pump
I ordered 2 of these pumps, I received 1 of them and 1 of some other pump that was obviously used with missing pieces but included mud. This pump that I actually ordered is great, works very well and was easy to set up. I'm using it for a fountain I made and have no issues with it. I may have to move the solar panel around because of the way the sun moves through my yard, but that's why I bought one with a long cord. If I hadn't ordered 2, I'm not sure I would have realized I received the wrong pump, so double check what you receive. This one was packaged in a box and had instructions with all of the nozzles.

Get what you pay for
A classic “get what you pay for”. This inexpensive solar powered pump is good for a one inch from pump to spray. Check the spray power before purchasing. Number 2, once it turned on, it stayed on, in water or outside of water.

Inconsistant in anything less than perfect conditions
It works, but just not terribly well. If it's in anything less than 100% megawatt sunlight, the spray is not very higher, nor is it constant (it pulses). If the solar panel were larger to give it some more juice, it would be great, but I can't count on it to run consistently during the day.

Surpassed my greatest expectations!
This little Gadget surpassed my greatest expectations! I don't understand all the people complaining about having to keep refilling their bird bath with water. For one, strong wind will blow the water out over the edge. It doesn't have to shift or slide to for that to happen. Which, on that note, I didn't have any shifting or sliding with mine. Also if you're using it in the summer with sun and heat, the water will evaporate. So, of course you have to refill it. I took a video which I couldn't figure out how to upload so I screenshot pictures of the video. You may not be able to see it but my Fountain is placed squarely in the middle of my bird bath. The 4 extension rods perfectly keep it there. However, when there strong breeze blows the water out and over the edge of the birdbath which may account for losing lots of the water. You may notice in a couple of the pictures, the water spraying off to the side. That was when the wind would blow. And I would lose some of the water over the edge. This had nothing to do with the fountain itself and can't be helped. Also, I don't know how big other folk's bird baths are for people who say their fountain floats off to the side but once I attached the 4 plastic straw like extension pieces, like I said, my mind remained centered. Overall I love this water fountain Gadget. In these pictures I used the filter that made the water shoot up the highest. I decided later I wanted to change it and when I took it off rrealized it works perfectly without any filter attached! It creates the most adorable little bubbling gurgling kind of fountain effect. With that you don't have to worry about the breeze blowing the water over the edge. I decided to keep it that way for a while until I feel like changing it. It is now December and I bought this in the early fall. I was so worried when one day not long ago it got really cold and the water froze in the bird bath. I thought for sure, after that it would be broken but later when the sun came out and melted the ice it was back to bubbling and being adorable again! As far as I'm concerned I've already gotten my money's worth. Just get it. And it's also so relaxing to look at.

Great quality at a great price.
Purchased to make a bird bath where I had no electric outlet in back yard. Works wonderful. Would purchase again.

Both only worked a few days.
I really do not like to leave a negative review, but I had to on this one. I have ordered many of these from different sellers over the years and usually they will last a season, maybe two, and that's okay because I live in a desert climate and it's kind of expected that things don't last long outside here. I ordered these because the price was good. However, I ordered two of this brand and neither one worked more than a few days. They were extremely poorly put together, very cheaply made. I did not have an option to contact the seller about it. It was quite disappointing. On the days they did work, they worked quite well, but I think one lasted two days and one lasted three days and that's just not worth the good price.

:-) Klare Kaufempfehlung!

These little solar fountains are great. They don't really stick to anything with those little suckers so I wedge them in with rocks, but work really well in good light and even spurt a little in overcast weather. I'm a bit annoyed I didn't see that it was 2 for £12 in the second option of the listing, I added 2 separately to the basket instead of clicking on the other option for x2, so I paid twice the price, but I've reordered another 2 today and seen it so at least today I'm getting them for 12. They create more bubbles in my pond than my little pump so I'm hoping they will keep my fish happy. The pond has stayed clearer since putting them in. They look so discrete too, they're much smaller than my floating fountain that barely works, but have a stronger pump due to being able to face the solar panel in a better direction. The floating ones don't really face the sun properly. These are much better. I've even tilted mine at an angle so the water stream makes more bubbles, but you could glue them to a rock and have them bolt upright to create that standard water fountain shape. No real set up required, just place the panel facing the sun and put the pump part in the water with the nossle sticking up from the surface, add whatever attachment you prefer, just clip it on. I use the extension tube and one of the round spray nossles for a sprinkle but I'm planning to have one with just an open tube with no sprinkler to make a little more of a splash in the corner to give the fish more bubbles. The cables can just be hidden in the water too, everything is waterproof.

Works very well as long as you keep the nozzles clear. Great little aerator.
