Shaves small and large cabbage heads.
This is a great peeler for small and large cabbage heads, to make kraut or strings. It's so sharp, it will also cut your nails if you don't watch out. An excellent kitchen tool!

A great gadget
OMG - you really can teach an old cook a new trick. Over the years I have tried many cole slaw recipes, none ever suited me. I finally started buying Marieโs coleslaw dressing but could never slice the cabbage thin enough. This gadget does it just right. The cabbage is shredded, thin enough that you can eat it immediately, no waiting for the dressing to soften the cabbage a little. Slicing the baby carrots wasnโt quite as easy, will have to switch to larger carrots.

Very Thin Slices!
I've used it once on cabbage to make coleslaw, and it is sharp. The cabbage slices are thinner than I like, almost paper-thin, which led to them becoming gummed up in the slicing part. Also, a lot of tiny bits of cabbage flew everywhere, which I found annoying. If you want super-thin slices, this is a great tool!
