I have been a Licensed General Contractor for 46 years. THIS PRODUCT IS OFF THE CHARTS!! I would give it a 50 out of a 10. If you line a plastic bucket buy painting the interior it does not permanently stick. Use like a ice cream pale, wait for it to dry and peel off. You will see just what it does. PREPARATION is MOST important. Get down to bare metal IF possible. DO NOT APPLY IN ANY SUN!! The cooler the weather or conditions it is MUCH easier to apply. It will dry finished in 24hrs but I would wait 48 hours. IT IS RUBBER. You could even make rubber products if you used molds. It cannot be ANYMORE waterproof. INCREDIBLE PROCUCT. I did NOT use the spray and probably would not. I used a 1" disposable brush and a 4" foam roller work EXCELLANT. Do NOT clean brushes as its not worth it. IF you need to get it off hands or anything it comes right off with a rag soaked in paint thinner, while its wet. I am in California with NO humidity so being in the midwest it would probably take more time to dry dry. A gallon will cover litteralley150 sq ft. I had some paint that would not power spray off and another product that was difficult to grind off and yet it covered very well. I rebuilt a swamp cooler built in 1985 because the quality of it is 50 times better then the junk made now. I had to make some new metal parts. I AM SO HAPPY WITH THE END RESULTS!! I have NO DOUBT it will last another 10 years if not more. It skims over and AIR cures it. SO...I bought a gallon and put it in used margarine tubs which had lids. As long as air is getting to it, it IS CONSTANTLY CURING. Have fun.

Was unsure about this stuff, but I couldn't be happier!! Used it on my 30' tuna boat top, it had pin holes in it and cost $2500. To replace, and for $107. I'm sure I'll get several more years out of it.

I used this to re-seal my outdoor fountain, after ~12 years. It is really thick stuff and it took more than I expected, but it seems to be working really well after more than a month. No leaks and really happy with how it turned out. Warning: Your brushes/rollers will not survive, so plan accordingly to dispose after each use. It’s too think to wash out.

This sticks to everything. Sets up pretty quick too so don't dally with the application. The roof of my 2000, F350 was rusting pretty bad so rather than have it fixed & painted (which would have cost thousands nowadays) I dumped this on the top of all the rust and rolled it on. I used the entire gallon. Fortunately it was a white truck so you could hardly tell when it was done. Yep it works and you'd have a tough time trying to peel it off. Hey its a 2000. Make certain whatever you're using it on is completely dry but it most certainly does NOT have to clean!

I love the product but the gallon can arrived damaged and leaking,I feel that it should be better protected for shipping. Havent opened it up yet but I'm sure it's partially dried.i would really like to see the distributor send me a new can that is not damaged

I wasn’t too worried when the gallon of flex seal showed up dented and with a couple drips leaking out of the top but decided to contact the seller anyway and they offered a partial refund which was a nice thing to do, with the damage happening during shipping and I personally know about how rough shipping can be. Product looks great after applying the first coat on a camper roof. Thankyou!

i'm going to say 5 stars because i have used this stuff multiple times and its great, but im leaving 2 stars because this is how it came. i understand that stuff happens but now it a "non returnable" item so now im having to jump through a bunch of hoops with amazon to get my money back
