I used these cutters for my holiday pies every year and they work great. The cut super easily. Not the easiest to remove the flight from, but with the use of finger/knife dough slides right out.

Pros: Great that the little letters easily nestle into their tin case. Also, the tin case arrived in a cardboard box, cutting down on plastic packaging. Cons: Before making this purchase, I highly recommend you get out a ruler and mark out the dimensions on a piece of paper. As described by other customers, these letters are VERY SMALL! I've only used them with play dough, and the size makes it difficult to get the letters to release from the tins. It takes pushing them out with a thin object. I use the small end of a wooden chopstick, and that barely fits through the narrow spaces. Then of course there is an indent on the letter once you've pushed it through the tin. I can only assume this would happen with most materials. Also, once pushed out of the tin, most of the letters need to be reshaped, which creates more marks. Pros: If you are wanting a negative space to spell out a name, these work great, for play dough at least. Guessing this technique used with fondant and clay would work well too.

Easy to use and perfect size for my pie. I used a paper clip to gently push out the letters from the cookie cutters. Worked like a charm.

Easy to use, came with all the pieces listed. Only thing I would advise is using a little oil to help the removal process. Other than that they’re perfect.
