I need a spring that will fully compress with 75lbs.+ on it, but will not compress when under 40lbs. Will this spring fit my needs?

The is spring has a maximum safe load of 44.20 lbs. and a maximum deflection of 1.34".

How many kilos is it rated for?

I only needed to keep tension on a set screw. It did not need a specific force. They are small springs of only spring steel. I could easily compress between my hands. I also only used for a few months so could not comment on fatigue as well.

Could i easily compress this with my hands? Please don't tell me max load or deflection - i don't know what that means!

This will have to do with hand strength. The wire size, spring diameter and length along with the maximum safe work load( how much weight can be applied until the spring fails) and deflection (how much the spring will compress down in inches) are all factors.
