This is my first flatbed, and I don't think I'd go back to a turntable. It is easy to clean and the non-stick lining is great and looks well made. Just a wipe with a soapy cloth. The microwave cooking seems uniform (I really use for ready-meals), and I can use larger and rectangular containers too. This is also the first time that I've had an inbuilt grill and it is impressive with almost instant heat and cooking fish was quick and they browned nicely. Jacket potatoes are fast plus get a crispy jacket. You can use a combination of microwave+grill and can select the proportion of each to be used and here the instruction manual is very useful. For simple microwaving it works so logically even a child could guess it, if they can overcome the child lock! Strangely, and cleverly, the control panel won't work until you open the door, so little fingers don't start it accidentally. (After the initial opening the controls work whether the door is open or closed). A niggle, and I was about to return the machine because of it until I worked out what the instructions meant: the beep is loud and it beeps a lot. It will beep when the cooking is done and then beep every two minutes until you open the door. Poor neighbours! However you can mute the sound completely: open the door, press the child lock once, quickly, and "off" appears briefly. The downside though is it doesn't tell you when the cooking has finished. Overall, excellent machine, large enough for couples (bigger version available for families), it is compact, well made and I'd recommend it, even with the b**ping beeping sound!

Though this combination microwave has many functions, I find myself mainly just using the very convenient function of pressing the button to set my cooking time in 30-second increments at full power. Dropping the power for a slower cook is easy. I was keen to get the grill, but it feels relatively underpowered, so I've not used it much. It was helpful to crisp the skin of a microwaved baked potato (though now I have an air-fryer, I'll use that instead). Not having a turntable makes a significant difference. Food cooks perfectly without needing to be turned, and it's very easy to wipe the interior afterwards if needed. Very happy with this purchase.

I shopped around for ages to find a flatbed microwave at the right price and this one fitted the bill. All the functions I need and easy to operate. It’s so loud though! Sounds like a drill sometimes. There’s a small part on the back to protect the lead coming out of the back, which fibrates and makes such a noise. I’ve not yet figured out how to adapt it to make it stop.

Nice flat base microwave with grill too. Nice preset program settings & easy to use without preset too. I like that the button & finish noises can be muted. I like that the grill can be used without the microwave as well as combined. The defrost worked particularly well. For me it needed to be smaller size as it weighs less and fits in better. Thank you for such a good value quality product.

In spite of reading some controversial reviews before purchasing - I love my new microwave. It looks modern , I like its functions , the fact that it includes the grill and how is is made. It heats food well in spite of not having a rotating tray . Easy to clean . Generally very happy with the purchase.

Mine has gone rusty inside after 16 months. Not sure if I should continue using it. Shame because it is a good microwave.

My old 800w microwave died after 20 years so I replaced it with this one. The new one doesn't have a turntable so you can put in containers that wouldn't be able to turn on a rotating turntable. I have mostly used it for cooking my porage in the morning, for heating milk for a milky coffee, and for reheating rice pudding and sausages. All of which it has done with aplomb. I am not entirely convinced about the 900 watt rating as it doesn't seem to cook any faster than my old 800 watt microwave. It is though stylish and extremely easy to use so I will recommend it.

Rusted away very quickly, despite my best efforts & I’m so disappointed! A complete waste of money and I’ll not make the mistake again. The cooking features that I bought it for are all still working perfectly, after just over 2 years in use, but the interior is unsafe - bubbled up & rusted away, despite always keeping it clean & dry after use. It’s not even in a busy household - it’s often only used once a day, to warm up a meal or hot drink. The seams started to bubble quite noticeably after about a year, then the paint flakes started - and by 2 years it’s sharp, there’s bare rusty metal - it isn’t safe or hygienic to use anymore, so is only fit for scrap - so not a good investment at all.

This microwave / grill is perfect fit in my caravan . Had to use adapter on power cord . But am quite pleased with appliance .

This microwave is simple use and best of all "no turntable" makes it easy to clean, more internal space allowing square/rectangular cookware to be used (Microwave safe that is). This particular model is not available in Australia, I wanted it because it fits into my caravan perfectly (and no turntable). Thanks to Amazon for importing it from the UK. (same mains voltage as Australia).

the grill function is a gimmick and only grills the middle

Microwave looks great, but was sent with a UK plug to Australia. Don't want to cut the plug off otherwise I would void my warranty. Unfortunately, I will have to return it.
