Great Barebones board
I order the first one which 2 keys did not work, i believe this was due to water damage because it was heavily raining the day it was delivered. I returned it and got another one back and it works perfectly fine. The software is pretty good and all the led features work and it also works with signal rgb which is a huge advantage, but you do have to disable the glorius software first. I got gatreon brown linear switches and it is very quite, and has a very nice feel to it. The noise level is perfect for my needs and is not picked up by any mics. I did buy the Barebones, which was a pretty good price. the keycaps I got with it are https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D541DJWW/?coliid=I20UVEF1S9QNY6&colid=8IWVDSFIR9KI&ref_=list_c_wl_lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1 note this is not an affiliates link. They are fully compatible with this keyboard.

North facing but still great keyboard
I have nothing mew to add here, it's a wonderful keyboard with so so software The sockets are north facing so I used non cherry keycaps and everything works just great. Very recommended

Good Frame
It's a well constructed, albeit heavy, frame. It has pre-programmed FN layers, so you have multimedia functions right from the start.

Good, as long as you don't need to use the software
I have to agree with the popular opinion on this one: good hardware, awkward/underdeveloped software. Nothing wrong with the barebones kit itself, for the price. I built what I wanted with it, and it works. No issues so far. The body is solid and heavy, with no obvious manufacturing issues. One minor exception: stabs are as rough as everyone says they are (as a result spacebar sounds nothing like the rest of the keys, and acts as a sort of jumpscare when combined with silent switches). The configuration utility (Glorious CORE) is confusing to use, and lacking in features. Can't remap Fn key, can't remap Fn+key behavior. Firmware supports 3 "layers", but they work like rigid profiles (that you switch with fn+ctrl+up/dn), and not actual layers. It's as if the developers expect you to just flash QMK right away. A somewhat sad impression.

Will always buy GMMK frames! All you need to buy are switches and keycaps.
Looks great, they include everything you need for a hotswappable keyboard. (EXCLUDING KEYCAPS & SWITCHES) But with this purchase, all you need to worry about are your keycaps and switchs. VERY solid and does not move around at all during play. This is my second GMMK frame for my custom keyboards. I will not stop buying them in the foreseeable future. I would however prefer some more natural options (e,g, walnut). That is the only reason why I;d shop around. Keycaps in photo are: EPOMAKER Lusterfly Jelly Keycaps Set - 123 Keys Double-Shot Laser Engraved

Excellent product
Wow what a keyboard setup this is. Nice acoustics to clicky keys and good weight and design.

Inconsistent build
Got this on a sale for around $50 and I was so hyped since it was my first go at custom keyboards, got the switches, caps and everything and I must admit the build looked gorgeous since I'm a fan of "gamer" aesthethic. Everything was fine and dandy, the first issue came with the software, which is awful, barebones and even those few features are just rough to work with, however nothing any third party software cannot solve. The biggest gripe is simply how the PCB died after a couple of months, at first a couple of keys then a few more, I tried everything, even using new switches and its just the PCB dying, now the whole keyboard is just collecting dust, it was a horrible experience, I do not recommend this purchase even on a sale, you're better off buying Keychron or any other cheap gaming branded keyboard (if you're into that aesthethic like I am), they'll fare way better

solid build and nice sound
I am really blown away by the build quality of this keyboard. I got the bare bones version and their black 'shine through' keycaps (which you will need because the right shift key is 1.75u and not a standard 2.75u also since the delete, pup, pgdn, and end keys are also on rows 5 through 2 they have a different profile than normal, so ordering their keycaps is a must unless you can find another keycap set that supports a 65% TKL) and their Polychroma keycap set too. I also ordered the Gateron black linear switches. after lubing the switches properly and putting the switches in the keyboard and the keycaps on, THIS KEYBOARD 'THOCKS'. its like ASMR typing at its finest.
