JVC Earclip Earbud Sport Earbud Earclip Black (HAEC10B) (HA-EC10B)

I've tried multiple cheap wired ear buds and over the ear buds and these are my favorite! To be honest, I bought these because my husband snores and I wanted to be able to keep sleeping in the same bed with him. I have kid size ears and my inner ear is very small. I had trouble finding regular ear buds (1) fitting & (2) staying in my ear while tossing & turning while I sleep. These are absolutely amazing!! The sound is wonderful for a cheap pair. I've not actually heard music thru an expensive pair, so I can't compare but bass sound is clear & crisp and nothing ever sounds tinny and never annoying - no matter if I'm listening to music, watching a movie or listening to a book. The whole piece is rubber - there's not a not hard piece of plastic on it. Often times rubber will bother my skin and itch or cause a rash. THESE HAVE NOT. I do toss and turn a lot while sleeping and they've never fallen off OR out of my ear. They're very comfortable and not at all noticable when I lay on my side - I don't feel like something is stabbing me in the ear or side of my head. When I wake up, they're in the same place as when I went to sleep. The cord length is enough that my phone can sit in the night stand but it's never been wrapped around my neck or worry me about choking myself. If my toddler granddaughter is staying overnight, I do have to leave one out or I won't hear her while music is playing. I've had these for well over a year (almost 2) and have no malfunctions of any kind. WELL WORTH the $12 price! Update May 2021: I've slept with these in my ears EVERY night since receiving them. NO malfunctions, STILL as comfortable as day 1. They REALLY ARE great earbuds! Update Feb 2022: Same pair, still sleeping in them EVERY night. NOT ONE issue with them yet!

I consider these a great value as they fulfill their purpose of staying in my ears when regular earbuds fall out. I can wear these JVC Earclips in my ears under my hearing protection earmuffs and do things, such as mow or vacuum or do things in the garage such as grinding or running machines and listen to music. These JVC Earclips work great for that as my regular earbuds if used for this same purpose just continually fall out. If you are used to high end earbuds these will not make you happy if you use them for music. I listen to talk radio and also have a FM broadcast unit that is hooked up to my entertainment center, stereo and TV. I use these along with a small Sangean AM FM radio to watch TV late at night so as to not disturb my wife so she can sleep. These work well enough for that as I can watch TV and these don't fall out like my earbuds do. So far, I just got these, so no reports yet as to long term comfort as in, wearing them for hours at a time. I'll come back some time in the future and update this review concerning that. Wearing them for hours at a time, that pretty much will depend on how well they fit you. So far, wearing them for something like 20 minutes, as a quick test, they are ok. My impressions at this point, yes I would recommend them and I would buy them again if needed. If these prove to be comfortable while being worn for hours, I'll probably order 2 more sets. Seems I have a problem with stuff I like, If I like it, it will be discontinued and the replacement will be half as good. ~

These are my favorite earbuds. I love the way they fit over the ear. The loop is relatively flexible, and so they are not the tightest fit, but they will stay in your ears when doing manual labor. They are cheap, so do not expect them to last for years on end, but I like to buy 3 or 4 pairs at a time, so I always have a spare to replace them with when they eventually die. I bought three pairs in January of 2021, and I just opened the last pair in November of 2022, so each one lasted about a year, although one ear died a few months before the other, so I cut of the dead ear, and continued using the last one. I am not an audiophile, so I am not someone to listen to in regards to audio quality, but everything I listened to sounded great to me. (music, podcasts, youtube videos, etc.) It did not blow me away, but they are sub $10 earbuds, so I do not expect mind blowing sound. TLDR, if you want cheap earbuds, these are my personal favorite, and I recommend buying a few, as they only last about a year.

Some of the negative reviews stated the chord was too short to reach their phone in a pants pocket. Not true. The chord is plenty long and hangs below my knee when I'm wearing them. I'm 5'10. The sound is very good, keeping in mind these are inexpensive headphones. Some reviews stated there was no base sound. Again, I did not find this to be true. The wire is thin and seems like it wouldn't hold up for years, but the overall quality is better than what you would expect from an inexpensive pair of headphones and I will more than get my money's worth from these. The best part is they fit very securely over and around my average size ears so they are perfect for running and working out without having to keep adjusting them. They stay firmly in place. I'm very satisfied with this purchase and would recommend if you are just looking for inexpensive headphones that fit good and sound good.

I bought these having owned two pair of Koss sport headphones and thought I'd save a few bucks. The sound quality is, as far as I can tell, slightly better than the Koss sports, a bit less tinny. But I'm wishing I would have gotten the Koss for two reasons: - The earbud on the these JVCs sticks out significantly further, which (for me) means that it's uncomfortably placed further into my ear than the Koss earbud. I suppose, in theory, there's an argument that it is less easily dislodged, but since these are over-the-ear, that shouldn't be an issue. I never had a problem with the Koss over-the-ear earbuds falling out. - The cord (wire) on the JVC is very stiff-- dramatically stiffer than the the cord on the Koss set. I don't know if there is some potential benefit to that. Perhaps it will help avoid the cord getting kinked where it enters the over-the-ear section, which is what I think killed my Koss set. But there is a big drawback to the stiffer cord-- it get tangled up in itself and the over-the-ear pieces really easily and is surprisingly hard to untangle. Bottom line-- good sounding over-the-ear phones for working out at a great price. But you may regret it if comfort/convenience are more important to you.

Deliver on time and exactly what I wanted.

I bought these specifically to listen to music and audiobooks in bed. I previously used regular headphones (which required me to sit up) or "sleep headphones" with flat speakers inside a soft headband. The regular headphones would hurt my ears if I slid down onto my pillow, making dozing-off impossible, and the "sleep" headphones were hot to wear, especially in summer. These small JVC Earclip Earbuds fit secuely inside the ear canal, the flexible earclips hold them in place, and the thin cord isn't obtrusive. I can doze-off while listening, and they're sill in place in the a.m. Sound quality is as good or better than my regular headphones (admittedly they're old and well-used), but for under $10, they're a great choice.

First, my only complaint is these don’t have other colors other than black. Outside of that these are great wired earbuds. We’re not into Bluetooth or any non wired kind. Those we feel are unsafe due to cumulative emf’s. With These there’s zero worry. Great sound quality, easy to put on, and durable if properly cared for so they’ll last a long time. Both my husband I wear these and are our favorite over the more expensive ones. At just under $11 these can’t be beat.

The sound is almost as good as my Sony MDRXB55AP/B Extra Bass wired ear buds, but the JVC's stay in my ears while running and sprinting. This is important to me, because I mixed up using Audacity a Peak8 sound track of (30s fast music for sprint + 90s slow music for walking) x 8 sets.

Nice a soft and holds very well around the ears. I have small ears so the loop insures the Earjack stays in place. I love the wired type since I don't have to worry about charging the plugs

Great quality earphones with excellent bass. Better than my Bluetooth earphones
