Is this the viro panzer double shutter lock? or is this the previous viro model?

This padlock is the VIRO PANZER #4126. It is a Double Shutter. Each side can be manipulated separately, after you have released it with your security key.

You say this is a Peweg chain but there's nothing in the description mentioning Peweg. Can you explain?

The chain is made by Pewag in Austria. The Lock is made by Viro in Italy. We cut the chain, add the sleeve and a lock to make it into a kit at our facility in Detroit, MI. So, the complete kit itself is actually a Vulcan Brands product.

Can the key way in the core be drilled out with a cordless drill?

It's safe to assume there is no anti drill protection if its not specified.
