One of the best intro packs for RPG I have tried. Extensive stories enough for more than 10 play sessions. Very comprehensive rules and beautiful dice.

This is quickly becoming my new favorite TTRPG. I'm a huge Tolkien nerd, and got a chance to run this for some friends over the holidays. We got through the first adventure (it includes 5, meant to be run as a sequence) and everyone had a great time. It was a joy to run. It does take a bit to get used to the "flow" of the new rule set, but my players are all familiar with 5E D&D, so they quickly picked it up. The books and map that come with this starter set are packed with lore about the Shire and people living there. Everything is very well designed and written, and fits perfectly within the look and feel of Tolkien's work. Even if you're not planning to run a game with it, the Shire history book and the adventure book are a fun read.

I love that this set came with everything you need to start playing. It's a nice quality set and my 14 year old son loves it. He said the cards were nicely printed. The dice were great. The only negative thing was there was one page that was printed twice in the book other than that it is a nice quality set.

So well done. The fold out map is gorgeous. Perfect addition to DnD night
