I just got it today. Hook it up without the amplifier in 2 minutes and it working not just great but the best. Broadcast 1080 HD Signal reception is top notch, receiving at least 50+ includes both digital and analog local channels. It works as advertise. Excellent product.

It didn't work, plain and simple. Not one single channel. Sent it back for a refund.

I bought two of these. On one TV, it worked even better than the antenna in the attic. But on the other TV, it was worse. Instead of the two fuzzy channels coming in better, they would not come in at all, and the other channels were iffy.

It is difficult to tell if there is another product superior to this unless I tried it as well. You really need to get it up above obstructions to grab a signal. In our case we live in a town that has many tall pine trees and is currently inundated with smoke from the fires that are eating up the Northwest. We connected two long coax cables to put it up on the 3rd floor window because the 2nd floor just didn't cut it. We were able to get four channels pretty strong and on occasion four more. All digital, no analog and all with the booster plugged in. For the price, I'm pretty happy with the quality & construction. AND ... WE CAN WATCH FOOTBALL THIS YEAR WITHOUT PAYING THROUGH THE NOSE FOR CABLE!!!

It works, but certainly does not have a 50 mile radius. I was not able to receive local VHF channels with this antenna. If your local channels are using VHF, rather than UHF, I would recommend a different antenna.

got 1 channel without booster and 3 with..was built thin so much as tough to move it around withou possible tear of coax from antenna...amazon came through and issued refund in 1 day get one a little thicker or better yet one that goes in attic.got a lava brand..more money but omni directional and not afraid to move it till got best signal...the lava8008 is way better in my humble opinion..got 6 channels just placing on floor ..So far had no luck with those thin as paper hang with sticky tabs...supplied .my opinion you will have to pay more to CUT THE CABLE!!!

Without the amplifier, only the strong stations come in (no moderate strength channels). With the amplifier connected, no stations are received. This doesn't make sense. All stations are less than 50 miles away. By the way, StarTV says to contact them with any problems, but there is no address, phone, or website given.
