Great Purchase
I was given an older wood chipper (Echo brand with Honda engine). It had been neglected and had pinholes in the gas tank where water ate at the metal tank and the cap would not tighten. I researched and found this replacement on Amazon and took a chance that it would fit the model engine, and was pleasantly surprised. It fit nicely and had parts included that I didn't need as well as some that were. I added a new spark plug and it starts right up and works well.

This tank almost bolts up on my 2004 honda gx 270 engine !
I can only get in two bolts ! This tank will work fine for me with only 2 of the 4 bolts ! My original honda tank I destroyed because I left new modern pump gasoline in the tank too long ! I have never seen a tank rust so bad so fast ! This a chinese knock off ! It will work ! Just do not think it as high quality as a honda OEM tank ! I wish I could say better ! Thing is ! Truth is truth !

Great price, arrived early, fit perfectly. Used to re-purpose a GX340 that did not have an integral tank.

was hard to get bolts to line up no wiggle room to put in bolts also seem to be a little crooked(bolt holes)

The tapped holes where done at an angle making it very difficult to mount. Had to be-engineer
Replacement tank but it was side contours were out.

The tank was 30 percent lighter than the original tank
The holes to mount the tank did not match up the holes in the motor bracket had to ream out the tank bracket mounts to get the bolts to line up Over all poor quality cheap compared to the original I removed
