Excellent!
I love these things! Over the years I have learned the value of quality storage solutions. They aren't cheap, but they are worth it (and I usually go cheap on everything). They are sturdy, well-built, have the best compartment density as well as different density options, and are generally perfect for storing all kinds of tiny things - electronic components, small hardware, seeds, beads, you name it! You can even remove the hinges and clasps to mix and match halves of different compartment densities. I especially love that you can open and dump individual compartments without potentially spilling any others, and they seal well enough to contain even the tiniest surface mount components. And if you have fat fingers you can keep tweezers right inside the box (as pictured) so they are always on hand to extract parts with. They come with paper labels, but I use printed labels instead so I can't comment on the quality of those. My only complaint is that the compartment lids are not completely transparent. You can kind-of see through them, but it's very cloudy. However, that is as good as it gets for that type of plastic, and other types of plastic that are clear are more prone to cracking and breaking. All-in-all, a quality product.

Superb for SMD components, function over form
This box is great for storing tiny electronic components for microsoldering. I store mostly 0402 and 0603 sized parts in the smaller compartments. For 0402 components that come on a strip, I cut them in groups of 8. For 0603 components, I cut them in groups of 4. That may give you an idea of just how small this box's compartments are. The larger top compartments are good for storing larger parts like coin cell battery holders, through-hole LEDs, and various connectors (e.g. JST PH). Pros: My favorite thing about this box is that each compartment snaps shut tightly. Parts stay in their own compartments, letting you store the box upright if you so choose. Nothing falls out. The hinges also seem to be high-quality and last a long time. Lots of compartments in a small space -- the footprint of this box is smaller than a standard letter! Cons: The branding on the outside of the box is unattractive. I don't mind a small logo but I didn't care for "BOX-ALL" in a large font face with the maker's URL. I covered them up with stickers. Also, the gray boxes are not rated as ESD-safe (the black ones are). If I need another component box in the future, I will look at this maker's products again, maybe the 42-compartment box (24x2).

Best Paint Case On The Market
I'm probably the minority here but I actually use this to hold decently sized amounts of watercolor in each well. Pros: perfect amount of room in each well to hold paint. I found other cases had cells that were unnecessary large. This saves paint. Especially if it's your travel case This is a very conveniently sized case. Because the cells are so much smaller than others, you can fit WAY MORE paints and still have a decent size. I modified mine to take the top of the case off. It really doesn't need it in my opinion because the tops to the cells do an amazing job keeping closed anyway. I've never had a top open while traveling, etc. to take the top off is very simple, just pull the pin out of the hinge. and it can be put back on if you change your mind. Individual lids for each cell. Essential for not getting your paint cells mixed up or having all your paints fall out if you drop it, etc. I just find it nice to open the cells to the paint colors that I'm using and close them as I go. Other cases, I had to open the whole thing to access the paints and I've spilled them like that. With my modification with no lid, it's super easy to access a paint. I don't have to open the top then open the cell. Also all the cells are on the board instead of removable which I didn't like with one of the cases I tested because it was too clumbersome when opening and closing cells. I want to say it's 90% air proof. I tested this case with acrylics and even though it dried up after weeks/months, it took the longest out of the other cases I tested. (Good thing) So good in fact that I have to leave the tops off for the watercolors to dry them out before I close them. Cons: This isn't really a con because I haven't found a case better than this one regarding airtightness. But if there were room for improvement I'd say it would be this. If I don't fully dry out the watercolors or use acrylic paint, when I flip the case on its side or upside down, the paint in adjacent cells will meet where the tops for their cells are. The cells themselves don't mix and the paint doesn't spill out but it's a slight nuisance because it may dirty your paints a little. The runnier the paint the more of a mess it creates. My acrylic paint traveled to the cracks of about 6 tops. See the picture I've attached. Not fully getting into the cells and not fully spilling out. This is the most leakproof case I've seen so far, but if you fill it with water and flip it upside down, it will dribble out. I wouldn't use it for anything runnier than acrylics. Like inks, etc. Overall, out of all the cases I've tested, this is by far the best. I've attached a picture. The top two rows are dried watercolors and the bottom row is acrylic. I sometimes use the other cells to mix colors as I'm painting. 5/5 would recommend.

Great storage for SMT/SMD parts
This case is perfect for SMT/SMD components. There are so many compartments for all of your resistors, diodes, capacitors, and so on. It feels really nice and would say it was worth the money. Though it’s plastic, it is sturdy and will definitely hold up for ages. The compartments lock nicely, and I am not worried about them opening randomly and spilling all of its contents.

Too small.... as advertised.
It is as advertised. Near little box. Lists of compartments. I should have looked at the comments though. Even though it has dimensions in the picture, I did not pay enough attention and thought it would be like 3 times bigger. The whole thing is so small, you can not put resisters inside any compartment without bending the legs in half. Again, not their fault, mine but for scale. I added my hand in this picture. One more thing, the little compartments sometimes require a little too much force to open. PS: can’t seam to attach an image anymore. Imagine a hand covering the entire compartment surface on one side.

Huge improvement over cardboard boxes
I had an increasingly difficult to manage collection of SMD components which this organizer was perfect for. One thing I like in particular is how sturdy the lids of each cell are. There's no chance that they would open by themselves and they leave no room for even very small components (0201) to slip out when closed. Depending on the SMD size the cells can each fit dozens to thousands of components, so one organizer has replaced several cardboard boxes of plastic bags. I printed my own labels rather than write on the included ones by hand, which would have taken forever.

Aide-Tek Should Get Into The Jewelry Box Business
(This is the wife, and I have hijacked my husband's account to write this review. You know how it goes with sharing the Amazon Rewards account as a family.) Anyway, I have been extremely frustrated trying to find boxes specifically made for JUST for earring storage. Please, can manufacturers just realize that once a person gets going with earrings, they end up having a shit-ton of them. Unless you are a tweenager without an education in interior design, most people actually do NOT want our bedroom walls and every flat surface within eyesight to be covered with earring racks and earring holders everywhere. HOW UGLY! I also wanted an earring case that was not frufru or overpriced. I'm a practical, utilitarian girl who'd rather trade not losing my earrings for having them nestled in some fancy box that they all come flying out of the moment you open the lid. SO... I came up with the brilliant idea of buying a component box to store my earrings. First, with this Aide-Tek box each little compartment has it's own lid!! How neat is THAT? You don't even get that option with bead boxes, which I think is pretty DUMB. I'd love if each little lid were see-through, too, but hey, I'm crossing lines into industrial territory here, so close enough. Second, I cut a piece of felt to fit into the bottom and up one side of each compartment, so that I could fish out each earring set easily. You just pin your posts through the piece of felt and voila. Third, if the larger compartments had been just SLIGHTLY bigger, they could have housed some dangling earring sets which as every earring wearer knows, are an absolute PAIN IN THE PATOOTIE to store. I wasn't sure if this idea would work before I ordered the container but I tried anyway. Unfortunately no, most dangling earrings are too big. But the Aide-Tek component container actually STILL works great for studs, keeps every set safely and separately stowed, with no risk of mix-up or loss, and it was AFFORDABLE. Come on Aide-Tek, am I clever or what? Please think about diversifying. Consider make us earring-wearing folk happy by launching into the earring case, business... especially if you come up with a box with compartments and lids for those darn dangly ones!

and I'm very pleased with them
A now deleted early review by me was intemperate and wrong. I did receive two complete boxes, and I'm very pleased with them. Quality is high and sturdy. My plan is to use it to store boardgame counters.

Fazit: Preis-/Leistung passt. Punkt.

Great quality and a good solid feel
Initial thoughts are that it feels really great quality, nice and solidly built that will hold all my smd components safely because I don't want to have to pick them off the floor and sort them into the values.
