Character Ice

I bought these ice packs for my daughters lunch box as school started this fall and we love them. We use them a few days a week and love that they are thin enough to fit in the inner zipper of her lunch box but also cold enough to keep her food chilled all day. We get home in the early afternoon after the ice packs have been out of the freezer for 7-8 hours, and they are still cool. It's more effective than I would've imagined. They're light weight, easy to clean, and easy to store because of how thin they are.

They’re cute, not thick at all, they don’t leak and they fit well in my son’s lunchbox. You just freeze them overnight and place them in the lunchbox. 4 for the price is great! My son is only at school til 2:45/3pm but his lunchbox is packed with one of the penguins from 7am and they last all day. They’re still cool but not frozen when I pick him up so I’m not sure if they are suitable for children who are in daycare or aftercare until 5:30/6pm. They work well for us who only need them until 2:45/3pm.

My 5-year-old son is currently going through a heavy dinosaur phase, dino backpack, lunch bag and water bottle, so why would we stick with the generic, boring square ice packs for school lunch when we can have dino ones! When I first showed my son, a huge smile lit up his face :) The ice packs live up to their name, they are definitely small and slim, perfect for a small, insulated lunch bag used by a kindergartener. I use 2 each day when packing his lunch (usually a sandwich, chocolate milk, cheese stick, etc), and it is the perfect amount of chill to keep his food cold for his early lunch. I'm sure one would be enough, but there is plenty of room for a second one in his bag. I pack his lunch around 630-700AM and he eats between 11-1145AM, for reference. These will probably not be beneficial if going an extended period of time before eating, even in an insulated container. This is one of those items where a regular ice pack would have done the trick and my son would have been none the wiser, but for less than $10, it was so worth seeing how excited he was to complete the dinosaur theme. Very happy with my purchase!

Love these dino ice packs! They are easy to throw in the freezer and the lunch bag. They make lunch time fun for your little dinosaur lover. They are durable and easy to clean. They keep things cold until at least lunch time- the kids never complain that their drinks aren't cold, which is a big deal for them.

These unicorn ice packs are amazing! We got them for my 4-year-old to take to preschool, and they’ve been a huge hit.
