A Safe and tasty way to introduce a new dog to a new life of love and safety.
I have not had a dog that turned these down.We rescue young, old, and sometimes abused dogs. These have been an invaluable way to engage a wary, disappointed dog. They quickly realize this is not a trick to hurt them or tease them. They are a positive "introduction" to a new life of clear rules, love, and mutual trust.

THEY WORK! BUT BE CAREFUL!! READ THIS REVIEW!!!!
I gave these 4 stars because they REALLY WORK, I took a star off because they are deceiving... BEWARE: READ MY STORY: I gave ONE of these to my 55 pound doberman mix who is TOTALLY CRAZY in the afternoon the day they arrived with no expectations because nothing calms her down, ever. Nothing happened. The next day, again in the afternoon, I gave her ONE again. An hour later she was drooling uncontrollably, knocking her head into walls and furniture while walking in the house, walking like she was drunk, her tongue was hanging out of the side of her mouth, she would not eat or drink water and was visibly disoriented and confused and distressed. My husband and I spent the entire rest of the day taking turns sitting with her on a blanket outside trying to put water in her mouth and just watching her breathe and sleep to make sure she was "ok". And yes, we considered taking her to an emergency vet. We didn't do that because we know our dog really well, we've seen her on the verge of death sick, injured, terrified, we know her whole spectrum from great to terrible. And we watched her every second until after midnight when she started to come out of the outrageously intense "drugged" state she was in. The next morning she was back to normal. So... how should I end this review? These things worked on a dog who has been given A LOT of natural remedies for fear, anxiety, aggression, reactivity, etc. and showed absolutely no sign of change from any of them. That means that there is an ingredient or combination of ingredients in these things that is REALLY EFFECTIVE. And she is totally fine, it was apparently just too much for her system. It could be that they become more effective if given daily seeing as there was no effect the first day and the second day with just TWO treats in her system she acted like she was on heroin for about 7 hours. I don't think there is anything bad about these, in fact, to be honest, I'm relieved we actually found something that works on her and no, I didn't throw them out, but no, I haven't given her any since that day. They are sitting in her treat drawer, wrapped up tight in a ziplock bag, way in the back, ha! I will keep them on hand for emergency situations. I have also considered breaking off a TINY piece and giving it to her and then watching her closely as an experiment. Anyway that's my story, sorry it was so long, but I know there are a lot of dog moms (and dads) out there who might not have to go through the scary situation I did if they read this first. I'm not saying don't get these, but I am saying be careful with the dosage!! Also I checked out the company and they seem great. Good luck!

Can not go without it.
My Willow has mod - severe anxiety. She's 60 lbs and I give her three chews in the morning. She is a completely different dog. She's playful and affectionate. It's a chew and doesn't smell bad. I would recommend this to anyone who has a very anxious dog.

Pet Naturals Calming Chews
My dog threw up both times while taking. I did make sure I gave her the appropriate dose based on weight. No new foods for her, no table food. Nothing varied from her normal schedule. My dog ate them but the side effects afterwards were not fun.

It helps my senior dog! Very pleased with this product!
My dog is about 14 years old, he has canine cognitive dysfunction syndrome, which causes him to be anxious and unsettled mostly in the evenings and at night. The vet prescribed gabapentin and Prozac to help decrease his anxiety and his struggle to get comfortable and settled in the evenings, but even before we started him on anxiety medicine, these calming chews helped him a little bit, not a ton (but he also has CDS, so he needed some prescription medicine) but they worked enough that I bought these calming chewables for my dog a second time. I feel like they work even better now that he is also taking anxiety medicine. But sometimes he'll wake up in the middle of the night and he won't be able to go back to sleep, but I need to because it's 3 am, so I'll give him half or a quarter of one and it definitely seems to help. Before he started prescription anxiety medicine I gave my 20lb dog one of the chews and it didn't make him sick or sleep all day, but that was before we knew for sure that he had CDS. Every dog is different so I'm not necessarily recommending giving your dog an entire chewable. Start with the instructions on the label to determine how much your dog should be given and after assessing if your dog does well or not, you can always give a little less or a little more.

Pet Naturals of Vermont - Calming, Behavior Support for Medium & Large Dogs-30 Soft Chews
It work reasonably well to calm my dog during thunderstorms, but you have to spend about 30 to 45 mins initially with your dog to reinforce his confidence

Calming tablets
Great stuff, our dog got older and would not tolerate us clipping her but these tablets helped a lot. We started off with a quarter, then a bit more until it had the desired effect. Would definitely recommend.
