Fantastic learning text book, easy to use for both myself and my 8 year old daughter. I will be getting the second edition.

I have been learning Korean for about 6 months now. I have tried Duolingo, Talk to Me in Korean and Korean Grammar for Beginners, but found them all unsatisfactory for different reasons. This book has been great though - it presents the learning in a really logical and clear way, and the topics are all useful when travelling around Korea. It gives practice in understanding and using common topics of conversation, and bases the grammar teaching on those conversations in bite-sized doses. Then it follows with lots of repetition practice in reading, speaking and writing. It comes with an audio track so you can learn the pronunciation. If you join the online group (invitation comes by email when you download the audio track), you can get helpful little extra videos on YouTube. I have really enjoyed using it. Would recommend highly to beginners.

I got this book a few weeks ago and I really enjoy going through it. Everyday, I spend an hour to go through the lessons and I must say, it's very easy to follow. I like how it's not just a textbook but a workbook as well. It helps me try and write the words/sentences myself. I feel like I'll remember more words by doing so. Also the audio files are very helpful, especially when checking for pronunciation. Overall, I'm very happy I got the book and extremely pleased with the content. Thank you!

Once you’ve laughed at the cover picture being Japanese (with a Japanese 🇯🇵 flag!), you’ll find some positives about the book. I bought it when I started learning Korean and found it hard to follow, but after 6 months I’ve reread it and solidify my knowledge with the content in the book. With some prior knowledge of Korean it’s a useful book. It’s good to learn from various sources - K-Drama, Duolingo, YouTube, etc. My with is Korean and highlighted numerous mistakes in the book, so it’s a bit iffy, but make it a fun game - can you spot the mistakes!?

There are a lot of practice exercises and repeated work with the same characters (it could be a bit annoying, but that’s actually the key). + audio support, which makes the learning process much easier and more effective.

Good quality book but for me a return as all in Korean ! My fault for not checking it had English instructions returning for easy level ! But a very good price for more advanced learners

I found this less impressive than I had hoped. The print quality of the pages feels below standard, and the audio is provided as a single long YouTube video, which makes it difficult to navigate and find the specific sections you need. I’m still unsure how effective it will be for language learning, but these issues undermine the product right from the start.

If you want to learn the Korean alphabet, this is a great place to start!

Good book for beginner. Highly recommended

The book is easy to read but the better : It has the link in which you can listen the lesson to learn pronunciation and more. I am glad to order it. El libro es fácil de entender pero lo mejor es que tiene un link donde puedes aprender a pronunciar las palabras y mas cosas. Estoy my contenta de haberlo ordenado.
