Direct swap with original Zune hard drive, easy to install
I couldn't be happier with this product so far! I replaced my busted Zune 30gb HDD with this 128gb SSD and it worked perfectly and fit within the original Zune's metal casing for storage. It took a total of 20 mins to disassemble and replace. I wish I had this ability 20 years ago when I was using this thing on the daily. I can't speak to lifespan yet, as it's only been a week of use. But so far, I am very pleased with the product.

Perfect drive for Ipod Classic
I bought this drive to upgrade my old iPod Classic. I am very happy because it fits and works perfectly with no modifications or adapters required which is what I wanted. The price is right too. It costs about the same compared to buying and SD card adapter along with SD card. I noticed that it loads music faster compared to the original hard drive. I also like that I have more than double the original space which was only 30GB. Important note: If using in an iPod make sure you have the proper opening tools as disassembly can be difficult because iPod is very delicate. After that it is plug and play, when you plug it into the computer iTunes will detect that the iPod will need to be formatted. Once it restores the software it will work normal.

Brought my Ipod 'Classic" 160GB Back to Life!
I have an Ipod Classic 160GB which had the original HDD die. If you love your Ipod with lots of storage space, then this is a great upgrade or repair. I did this repair over two years ago and the drive is still working great. Although you have less drive capacity, the two big benefits to using this SSD are 1) fast access/seek time and 2) Longer battery life.

Failed after 3 years
Worked fine in a HP 2510p as a boot SSD on Windows 7. Failed after 3 years when the warranty ran out - hence not a suitable, reliable replacement for a slim HDD. Would not trust the brand. Others reported the same. Worried about the other SSD I purchased at the same time. Terribly annoyed to have to reconfigure a new SSD.

Great Replacement.
I got this to upgrade my 1st Gen Zune. Fits perfectly and with a smaller profile than the original HDD.

IPod 5th gen compatibility hard drive.
Awesome product. Had a 5th gen iPod video give me several years of good music times till the hard drive gave out. Broken and waiting till the day I finally decided to throw it out, I have it a go to just buy the hard drive. A risk not knowing if it'll work. Let me say this product works as it says. Not sure if it's for heavy server use or computer use but it works fantastic on my iPod. Transfers song lightning fast compared to the original hard drive. Plus it jumped from being a 30 gig to a 118 gig... Once you format it to iPod os it'll take away a few gigs. Best first product purchase I've made. Definitely recommend if you uploading your classic iPods or hard drive replacements. It meets the specs of 3.3v.

Great replacement for a Zune 30GB
I gave my father my old Zune a while back, since I moved onto the Sansa Zip Clip+ years and years ago. He has some trouble seeing, so the larger screen helps him out. However, it is an older device, the battery was dying in 45m, and I wanted to freshen it up a bit. So I figured, while I was replacing the battery, I'd replace the HDD with an SSD - mostly for the reduced weight, power usage and access times, rather than the increased storage size. As others have said, it works great, first time in. What I did was carefully remove the little plastic bezel in the bottom of the Zune, remove two tiny Phillip's heads, gently pried the two halves apart, removed the battery by unclipping the cable, removed the HDD case via four tiny Phillip's heads screws, gently pried *that* up, starting from the end opposite where the battery was, gently pried the HDD from the cage, removed the ZIF cable from the HDD, inserted it into the SSD, put the SSD back in the cage (with shock absorbers attached, they fit the new drive), then reassembled the whole thing. It took about 30m total, moving at a very careful pace. After reassembly, I reconnected the Zune to the computer, had to reinstall the firmware, then resync the Zune to the collection. This was a bit tricky, as the old Microsoft servers are no longer active, but there are guides online (search for ZuneUpdate for more info). For reference, the original HDD is about 47g, the SSD is about 32g, so you are looking at a 30% savings in weight there. If you forgo the shock absorbing pads and the HDD case, you could probably save another 10g, Probably not worth it though. It is a bit pricey, and there is a 64GB version for ~$30 less, but from what I understand, the KingSpec is one of the only drives that reliably works for the Zune upgrade. Converters, ZIF-SD for example, also don't seem to be reliable. I'll leave an update if my father has any issues, but so far, I am happy.

Worked fine for 3 months. Now dead ! UPDATE: KingSpec REPLACED !
This was installed in a 120Gb ZUNE player & worked great for 3 months. Just enough to get past the return time. Now it's dead. I'm trying to find another brand as this certainly did not last. Quality control must not be awake. Learned a $80.00 lesson. Not even going to ask about a replacement. UPDATE 9-5-2022: KingSpec read my review of my defective SSD & REPLACED IT under their Guarantee without a complaint from me. VERY NICE company to deal with. This is about my 4th 128 Gb SSD drive in my ZUNE players with usually no problems at all. Except this one & It is now fixed. I do recommend these SSD's as they are very reliable normally. THANKS KINGSPEC !

A parte he puesto otro GB extra (3GB en total) y Windows 8.1 Update 1 64 bits.
