Love them! I read reviews about these marking up the jewelry and I decided to purchase anyway. They are really not that bad, but I did take the time to sand and polish the mating areas to make sure they would not mar my finished product and this has worked well for me. I love being able to choose the size of my loops and get very close to the beads of the jewelry. I do recommend and would buy them again...

I should have bought these years ago. I don’t often need to put loops in wire but when I do these are the tool to do it with. The price and quality are both good. I considered dinging them because of their rough finish in the working area but that roughness helps the tool keep a grip on the wire being bent so it’s not a negative at all. I bend stainless steel spring wire in the .030-.040” diameter (.6-.8mm) range to create the main beam of the vane for anemometers. This tool helps me bend a loop of about 340º that then doubles back 160º or so and continues straight forward. This loop drops over the 1/8” anemometer central axle shaft and is secured with a top and bottom pair of nuts. Forming this loop cleanly has been a problem and it’s never quick, until I got one of these tools that is. Larger ss spring wire will be much harder to form with these and even the smallish stuff I work with can be work-hardened and break if you go to quickly.

I couldn't find many of these for a decent price on multiple sites and they would take over a month for me to get them, but this is great. Arrived early, packaged well.
