A new action-packed adventure series for young fans of Alex Rider and Jason Bourne--with the first four books publishing simultaneously. Binge read for summer! Martial arts expert Connor Reeves isn't your typical bodyguard--in fact, he looks like a regular kid. He blends in with the crowd. That's why he's so good at his job. For his new assignment Connor's been posted to a luxury yacht. His mission: to protect the twin daughters of an Australian media-mogul. It's a watertight operation, more a vacation than a dangerous duty--until the unthinkable happens. Far out at sea, heavily-armed pirates hired by enemies of the twins' father launch a high-powered attack against the yacht in an act fueled by greed and a desire for vengeance. It's up to Connor to push back the pirates and stop them from reaping destruction. Combining pulse-pounding action, diabolical enemies, and an insider's knowledge of the tricks of the trade, the BODYGUARD series is the perfect target for fans of Alex Rider, James Bond, 24, and Jason Bourne. Praise for BODYGUARD “Breathtaking action . . . as real as it gets.”—Eoin Colfer, author of the bestselling Artemis Fowl series "The training sequences are detailed and realistic, and Connor is relatable and likable. Featuring intense action sequences and strong friendships, this series starter will appeal to reluctant readers and fans of the 'Alex Rider' books."— School Library Journal on Recruit Review: Practice What You Preach - The author is a redoubtable enforced method writer, and it is expertly demonstrated here. The premise of this book series is, in my humble opinion, completely original. Highly recommend. Review: Teenage Bodyguard and pirate. What a combination! - Book 3 is part one of the pirate adventure. As a bodyguard, even a teenage bodyguard, you have to be ready for anything. Stay alert and always evaluate your options. After Conner's first assignment, this looked to be a little easier but wait. Nothing Conner is involved in is easy. Be prepared when you start the book not to put it down!

I can't recommend Chris Bradford's books enough
As a middle school librarian, I can't recommend Chris Bradford's books enough. For reluctant readers especially, the non-stop action and engaging characters featured in Bradford's Young Samurai or Bodyguard series will suck them in. After reading, point students toward Chris Bradford's webpage where they can learn about all the things depicted in his books. He knows what he writes about! If you haven't purchased earlier books in this series, go ahead and get them all. If you have earlier books from Amazon UK, double check the editions as the U.S. editions split up the U.K. books. Thanks, Chris, for your amazing books, looking forward to more!

It has the same content as Book 2.
My son says this book’s content is exactly same as “Bodyguard : ransom (book2)” Can I get a refund on this kindle book purchase? Thanks.
