Useful at times..Clear and Solid Make
The magnification is good, marking for measurement is legible. To clarify other reviews: 1. The second lens is intentionally made of plastic for less scratching. The main lens (glass) is perfect. No eye strain when using it yet the magnification is crystal clear. 2. The build quality is actually good. It is plastic, yes, but it makes the item less heavy. Also, maybe others are feeling it without the battery that makes it too light, thus, feeling cheap. But when batteries are in, the additional weight makes it feel more solid. Highly recommended.

Sehr gute Lupe!
Diese Lupe habe ich mir geholt für regelmäßige Kontrollen bei meinen fleischfressenden Pflanzen. Meine alte Lupe hatte nur eine 3-fache Vergrößerung, was die meisten Schädlinge besser sichtbar macht, aber Milben bleiben dennoch verborgen. Deshalb musste eine stärkere Lupe her, da eine Venusfliegenfalle stark kränkelte, obwohl die Bedingungen passten. Also bin ich auf diese Lupe hier gestoßen und habe ich sie bestellt. Sie kam sehr schnell an (typisch Amazon-Versand halt ;) ). Nach Erhalt erfolgte der Praxistest an eben jener kränkelnde Venusfliegenfalle und ja, der Schädling wurde sichtbar: Spinnmilben! Nachdem der Schädling identifiziert wurde, konnte ich nun Gegenmaßnahmen treffen (Sämtliche Pflanzen mit einem Akarizid behandeln). Von daher 5 Sterne! Zu den Batterien: Es handelt sich um Batterien des Typs "R14" (bei Zink-Kohle-Technologie) oder "LR14" (bei Alkali-Mangan-Technologie) nach IEC bzw. Typ "C" nach ANSI. Sie sind auch bekannt als "Babyzelle". Die mitgelieferten Batterien basieren auf Zink-Kohle-Technik. Es werden zwei Stück benötigt.

Very handy tool for painters
This unit is a value foir money option for surface preparation of steel. The 10X magnification makes viewing the Profile Comparator very easy.
