Works great especially with metal heddles. A bit pricey but it is long enough to go through my metal heddles.

I bought this because it was something recommended to make heddles easier to thread. It does work well for that and is sturdily made. No instructions come with it. So a person would need to know how to use it. Metal for the hook part with a solid wooden handle.

I bought this thinking I would like it better than the plastic one that came with the loom. It works okay- but I do like the plastic one better. I use this one for warping the 12 dent when I sley the reed.
