I wanted a simple sound machine and it’s exactly what I got! I didn’t need a night light, or to connect to an app (like the hatch), I just wanted something I could easily move around and travel with. It has a battery, so doesn’t need to be plugged in all the time which is great when we move it to different rooms or when we travel. It’s really durable, my son has dropped it a few times with no issues following. It has the option to be on a timer and it has several sounds to choose from. The volume is adjustable and is pretty good at drowning out sounds. We use the white noise only, and the sound doesn’t loop, it’s a continuous flow. Love the machine, and actually prefer it over our Hatch.

I love this little machine. Several noises to choose from. I love the sound of the waves! I recently popped it in my bag and took it on a business trip. The size makes it very handy!

Has a good variety of sounds and features, hold battery for a while, and projects sound well. The sounds could be a little more realistic.

The battery life is impressive. Volume is solid. Durability is good. Mine has been knocked of the table and make a rattle when moved but works like new and the rattle does not effect sound quality.

Good sound at any volume. The pink noise was the only one I tried so far but had a high volume all night. It was soothing and I didnt hear my noisy upstairs neighbor do his clogging and dropping and dragging at all. It was a wonderful night sleep. I listened to the other sounds and they are all clear and not annoying like others in this price point.

I have tinnitus so need something to mask that to help me sleep. I'd been using an app on my old iPod connected to a speaker but both the app and my speaker had been getting glitchy and I can't update anything on the iPod. I'd considered adding the app to my phone and purchasing a new speaker but I was happy to find this at a price comparable to similar sized speakers. It was quick and easy to set up and offers multiple white noise settings so I could choose a sound and volume that best masked the tinnitus. It remembers the last setting it was on so I only had to find the best level once. Neither my iPod nor my speaker would last through the night so going from having to keep both of those plugged in to only having to charge this after 3 or 4 nights is great. Looking forward to travelling with it and only needing the one cord and adapter, and not even those if I'll only be gone a couple of nights. The only improvement I could see it needing is maybe a power level indicator so you know before it shuts off that it needs to be charged. Mine shut off during my 4th night, I think, so I know now to charge it after 3 but I don't always remember how many nights I've used it. I haven't used the timer yet so don't know how well that works. Because I'm using this as a sleep timer I'll only set the timer if I use it while taking a nap and want to keep that to one of the 4 times available. I know from it running out of power the one time that having it shut off will wake me.

My 13 year old with autism has struggled with sleep for a long time. We used to use a tower fan in her room for white noise, but she got annoyed by rattling or other irregular noise the fan made. I bought this sleep machine hoping that it would be more consistent- it is - but it’s also made sleeping away from home SO much easier. She took it with her to a week of camp, and used headphones with it. Even when her headphones came unplugged during the night it wasn’t loud enough to bother anyone. I am not sure how long it stays charged, but you can get at least three nights before you need to plug it on. Not all the sounds are great - I would find some of them pretty annoying - but the fan noises are good, and my daughter says that the sound doesn’t have a perceptible loop. For neurodivergent kids, sleeping in a different place can really challenging. This sleep machine has made sleepovers a little easier for her. Great value for what I paid… in fact, I should probably just get a backup in case this thing ever breaks!

I brought 2 of these for xmas presents. It comes with a small amount of battery life and sounds great, however it came with plugs unable to be used in Australia. Now I need to spend more money buying AUS plug/USB sockets
