If you are a "tea party" kind of gal, this book is for you. If you don't know what tea is and could not care less, this book is for you - it is charming, well thought out an absolute delight to look through.

This is a great read! I was drawn to it by the art work and beautiful writing. It has lots of great and fun ideas for tea parties. I love how it is not just recipes but also craft ideas for the parties. I would definitely be interested in purchasing her other book. Also, this is a wonderful coffee table kind of book. One look at it and you just can't help but to pick it up and read it from beginning to end. Absolutely Love this Book!!!

This is a wonderfully elegant book filled with ideas for intricate foods, lovely hairstyles, and unique decor for the ultimate tea party on any occasion. I would recommend this book to anyone interested in party planning, tea time, food, or a knack for the quirky things in life. Some of the tea party themes include: Bachalorette Party, Valentines Tea, Bridal Tea, Tea Time for kids, Tea Time for Pre-Teens, and much more. I will definitely be ordering her original "The Vintage Tea Party" book next.

Good book would recommend

I love this brilliantly artful book- it's chock full of vintage, stylish, ideas and clever food and crafts.The illustrations by Adele Mildred are completely delightful as they were in "A Vintage Tea Party"... fun and quirky. I've ordered the sweets book too.

I bought " The Vintage Tea Party Year" because I happened on British TV series Escape to The Chateau. A British couple bought a French chateau, began two young children and creatively restored the chateau for paying guests.Angel includes everything from possible hair styles , invitations with a British touch to food and drink for yourguests to be glad they were invited.

Love learning about what happened before Angel escaped to the chateau with Dick Strawbridge and their 2 babies.

Ich liebe Dick und Angel und Ihr Chateaux-Projekt, deswegen war dieses Buch ein absolutes Muss für mich. Es ist in einer hervorragenden Qualität mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail gemacht. Wer mit der englischen Sprache so gar nix am Hut hat, wird Probleme bekommen, ansonsten kann ich dieses Buch für Fans wirklich weiterempfehlen.

I am a massive fan of her first book `The Vintage Tea Party', but believe me when I say, this....is the PERFECT book.Like `The Vintage Tea Party' Adoree's second offering is awash with whimsical creatures and dark, luxurious images, but there's something else here too: `The Vintage Tea Party Year' is page after page of sheer joy.The book is separated into sections, featuring different kinds of gatherings. From Hen Parties, to Christmastime; everything is covered and all of the imaginative ideas are easily transferable to other holidays and events.There are countless recipes including the quirky beef dinner in a jar, edible keys and asparagus cigars, aswell as more familiar treats such as rhubarb cobbler, sweet potato chips and shortbread.Amongst the edible delights are craft projects and hair and make-up advice. Instead of using pencil drawings as in her previous book, Adoree gives us clear step by step instructions with photographs (we like this!) and all in her unmistakable style.It is difficult to explain quite how much I like this book, other than to say it a triumph, it is a delight and it is a must for every vintage lover.
