Raspberry Pi 4 Model B (4GB)

Great little machine, capable of so many things. Just wish I had more time to experiment with it. Currently it’s a file server on my home network as it’s a great solution at very low running costs.

Purchased this, along with a FlightAware ProStick Plus, a 5DBi 1090MHz Antenna SMA Male Plug Indoor ADS-B Aerial with Magnetic Base RG174 and the ElectroCookie Raspberry Pi 4 Case to create a FlightAware feeder site - the whole system went together easily and worked first time; I now watch flights from my local airports, the Global Airlines A380 and air ambulance from my own system - excellent!

A quality product, very slow indeed with Debian (which they call Raspberry Pi OS, but it's just a rebranded Debian). Acceptable as an emergency replacement desktop machine under those circumstances. For practical use, use RISC OS: It really flies, and the software is of higher quality.

Its great, easy to setup and has so many potential use cases. Few issues like connectivity and heat but other than that it's is a great product.

First pi 4. Frequently bought 3B in the past. This has so much memory for such a small bit of kit. It's a monster. I bought an nvme case for it with an nvme sata drive. It's brilliant. I never thought I'd be able to use one of these as a workstation! But it works well for that application. Only caveat is that you need a cross compiler if you intend to build x86 software, although there are better machines to do that on.

Purchased for a project (building a jukebox). Whist the Raspberry Pi is up and running as a jukebox, I've not yet finished building the cabinet for it. Good value for money, and I've purchased several of these for different projects over the last 6 months.
