Prison Break: Season Three [Blu-ray]

This is Season 3 to my favorite series Prison Break and never the less special. I love the plotline and setting inside Panama's toughest prison in the world (fictional) Sona involving Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller) trying to break out again like Season 1. Season 1 and 3 are my most favorite of the entire series. I actually bought 1 & 3 first before buying Seasons 2 & 4. The lack of episodes for Season 3 was cut short due to the writer's strike that occurred in the process back in 2010. So it's not the show's fault for cutting the episodes down in one of the best seasons. Anywho, the product was great. Shipping was great as well, no complaints or scratches on the CDs or damaged artwork. Would highly recommend this product if you are a fan of action, suspense, thriller type shows.

season 3 has a slightly different vibe since it takes place in a whole new prison but i actually really liked the change of scenery. wentworth miller is so good in this role and the writing keeps finding clever ways to raise the stakes even in a shorter season. it got cut short because of the writers strike but there's no filler here at all.

Loved this series when it first came out. Missed episodes when this was on television years ago. Was nice to watch the series without missing anything this time. The actors do a wonderful job with their characters and adding suspense to the scenes.

Back to the prison break theme and away from the cheap Fugitive knock-off. Good, creative writing. Lots of non-obvious plot twists. Entertaining. A few quibbles. They're in what is supposedly a prison for the worst of the worst in Panama. But everybody speaks perfect English - the prisoners and the guards. Maybe they have to take a Rosetta Stone course as part of prison intake. Michael's trademark tatoos are covered up all the time. Since they no longer play a part in the plot, I guess they decided to skip the makeup. So Michael is the only person in this tropical climate wearing a long-sleeved shirt all the time and nothing in the story plot explains why. Lastly, as before, this director has just one technique to signal tension in a scene - he has all the actors suddenly start gasping like they just ran a marathon. This director desperately needs a broader pallete. These are minor gripes. This is pretty good and I would recommend buying.

"Prison Break" is the best show ever made. I have all four seasons on DVD and i have Seasons 1 & 3 and "The Final Break" on Blu-ray. Unfortunately Seasons 2 & 4 are not on blu-ray but when they become available on blu-ray I'll be first to order them. Season 3 is extra special because "Jodi Lyn O'Keefe" a.k.a. Gretchen is in it she is amazing beautiful & brilliant. You will also see her in season 4 & The Final Break.

I've been binge-watching the "Prison Break" series and I can't get enough of it. The stories are totally engaging (gosh, I was up to 8 AM one day). This series is a keeper, unlike the many DVDs I pass along to interested others. Engaging, surprising, and never boring. I would even say these episodes are sophisticated given the premise of its genre.
