Burlapper Burlap Garden Fabric (40 Inch x 30 Feet, Natural)

I recently peeled all my burlap off for the spring and wow, this held up much better than the other couple burlaps I've got. The other stuff is more "cheese cloth-y"- very gappy and flimsy. It unravels at cut edges or where a thorn snags it. This is higher quality, stays nicer longer. It also seems to be less absorbent which is nice for avoiding mold. It did stink when new, but I've never found a burlap that didn't. I think it's just the way the stuff is made. All you can do is plan ahead so you can let it air out for a month or two before you have to handle it. Definitely will buy this again!

We bought this burlap a couple weeks ago for a natural way to block weeds. It's very durable high quality burlap (especially when compared to weed blocking burlap found in stores that rips if you step on it). My kids and dog have ran across it many times when running through the garden, and it remains in perfect shape. I'm sure we'll have this for years to come.

What I bought at the box stores 10 years ago was good, but now the box stores don't have a quality burlap. What they do have is very light and not worth the same money I paid 10 years ago for much better, heavier quality. This burlap is really heavy and an excellent quality. I use it for putting under my Desert Sage and Oleanders when trimming. Then I can pick up the burlap and all my cuttings are in one place and dispose of them. I bought this for a costume I'm working on, and this is by far is one of the best prices per yard I've seen. That said as others have mentioned, this stuff has a terrible rank chemical smell that lingers - I recommend you spray it off outside and hang it to dry to rid of some of it (it won't totally go away, but its manageable now...).

30ft long; perfect for my needs. Got some hydrangeas and rhododendrons that get scorched in July, no afternoon shade... This burlap with some bamboo and sisal twine made for a good sunshade. We will see how long it lasts, but for $30 I’m not worried.

Yes it can! After being dissuaded from buying gardeners’ burlap from the big box stores due to discouraging reviews, I decided to take a chance with Burlapper. This fabric is sturdy but also soft and pliable. I purchased it to protect my mushroom logs from woodpeckers. It will serve that purpose beautifully. Very satisfied customer!

We wanted to protect our young Japanese Maple from the wind and frost. Drove several stakes around the perimeter of the tree and attached burlap with a staple gun. The burlap reached the ground and made a perfect circle. The tree is well protected. Very good quality. Would definitely purchase again and highly recommend.
