This is NOT a wimpy aluminum hitch that bend on first use
This thing is awesome. I towed a loaded 10k GVWR 24' car hauler over 3000 miles from Georgia to Tennesee to California with nothing but this and a Chevy 2500. It went like a champ, never once felt like it 'wasn't strong enough' and it had/got no bend at all. Adjusts super easily if you don't have an adapter sleeve, and even with the adapter you can use every level, you just can't slide the ball down easily for the top 2-3 levels without removing the locks to slide the hitch out some. Still love it. My grandfather saw this hitch and started to tell me the story of my uncles boat bending an aluminum hitch. I had to let him know to look a little closer, this is solid aluminum, not some manufactured glued together piece of Chinese crap. If you want a hitch for light to 'medium' duty this is the one. I would note that the first time I ordered they sent me a hitch with a 1 7/8" slash 2" ball, so those are available. Update: its over a year later and I still using this bad boy. Its great and looks just like new except the ball. I have towed multiple heavy loads across the country and never had any doubt. I do kind of wish I got the greaseless ball, cause it would be prettier. The ball can rust if you don't grease (just in case you thought it was aluminum too, like I did for some reason). Either way, trailer grease is cheap and easy to put on. Or you could paint the ball if you really cared. The short: still love the hitch stays attached to my truck all the time. Still a 5 star product.

Great hitches
Fantastic hitch. I have two of them. One on a 3/4 ton and one on a 1 ton. Pulls great and the grease less ball is easy to use.

Perfect for 2015 F150 Supercrew
Just a quick review for those F150 users. I purchased a 2015 Supercrew F150 and wanted a nice hitch to go along with it. I utilize a well built utility trailer that requires a drop hitch - for those that like to drive with level trailers. I wasn't certain about the drop that I needed but I didn't want one with too much drop as the lower ball will stick down and my driveway will take it off if it's too low. So, I bought the 6" Rapid Drop with the Alumiballs and greaseless tops. The drop worked perfectly for my trailer on the lowest setting. I'm happy to say that it looks super sharp and have begun noticing all the other trucks with the same hitch. Although I can tell the ones with the steel balls because they discolor differently so I'm glad I got the Alumiballs. Also, after running the trailer a couple times I've seen no damage to the cap. The hitch itself is super solid with very minor movement within the receiver. The connection between the ball mount to the adjustable hitch is solid and there is no apparent movement. I purchased the Rapid Hitch 3492 Keyed Locking Pins to go along with it and I'm very happy with those as well.

Reliable, Simple, and an Overall Great Purchase
This hitch has performed above and beyond my expectations so far. I use it regularly with my 2011 F-350 to haul anything from a trailer full of branches to a trailer loaded with 2 Polaris Razrs and 2 four-wheelers. To work with the newer Ford factory hitches I did need to purchase an adapter sleeve, because the Rapid Hitch has a 2" shank while the Fords come with a 2 1/2" receiver. The ease of adjustability, along with how tightly it secures in place after being adjusted, makes the Rapid Hitch a truly outstanding choice. I used to own a B&W Tow and Stow, and I was initially happy with the product. However, once I was deep into the Idaho winter, where temperatures would top out at 20 degrees for sometimes weeks at a time, the Tow and Stow became more of a pain than anything. The pins that you had to remove to adjust it became so tight that, at times, I had to use a rock/hammer and some form of punch to get them to release to adjust the hitch! The Rapid Hitch has never given me a single issue like my B&W Tow and Stow did. I am truly pleased with the build quality, aesthetic appeal, and overall reliability of this product.

Adjustable trailer hitch
Had to return item due to size of receiver. I did look at this product and it is very well-made and heavy duty. Had to purchase a different brand for a 2 1/2 inch receiver overall the product looks like it’s very high-quality and fit and finish was good.

Well made product, excellent customer service!
I love everything about this hitch, except the nylon cap fell off of the 2" ball only a few weeks after I bought it. It had only been used once, as I use the 2 5/8" ball more often than the 2". They shouldn't come off that easily. Otherwise, it's great! The aluminum is very lightweight, the height is easy to adjust, and overall, the materials and construction are very good. The parts fit together tightly and it fits tightly in the hitch, so there is no rattling or jarring when towing with this hitch. When the cap fell off, I called the manufacturer, and they quickly shipped me an entire new ball assembly. I was impressed with how they handled it. I would definitely buy another Anderson Hitch, but I might get the regular, all metal type next time, rather than the greaseless. At the same time, though, I haven't had a problem with the replacement now, after 3 months. Maybe the first one I got just had a minor manufacturing defect.

Great hitch and cleaned up like new with some polish after using it in the winter to pull my 24’ snowmobile trailer👍🏻👍🏻 I recommend buying the matching locks that go with it.

It is pricey, but works very well. I’m hoping it will last a long time, “buy it once but get a good one.”

Nice fit and finish, a serious piece of equipment. My 2 piece hollow tube Reese is ok for utility trailers but for serious tongue weights I don't want to ever worry about the hitch holding up. Really like the range of adjustment.
