5 year old loves her new entry level touch sensitive keyboard!
Works as described. Better price here on Amazon vs Toys r US. This model comes with the Dance music songs. Thought it would be cool, but they are meh. Dont think we would ever use those. I am glad this comes with the touch sensitive keys though. The harder you hit the keys, the louder the sound. In short, our 5 year old loves practicing on it. Comes with wall power adapter. Book or sheet music holder doesn't hold smaller items, and needs a redesign. Not bad for an entry level keyboard, with touch sensitive keys. We are very happy with it.

Great 61 keyboard
I was looking for a small keyboard to use in my office. I have a full-sized keyboard that I use in our great room, but there are times that I would like to have a computer next to the keyboard while working on and documenting music for church keyboards. I started out looking for cheap keyboards, but knew that I would never be happy unless it had touch response. This keyboard has been perfect for what I need. It is also small enough that if needed, it can easily taken along. Notes of my use: * I have used piano, organ and strings tones. They are not exact, but really much more than expected! * I have connected a sustain pedal, which works well for me. * I have had no problems with polyphony on the keyboard. * I have no use for all of the rhythm, song banks, dance, or lessons. I have not even turned them on. * Although I probably will use the midi capabilities, I have not attempted its use.

Excellent product, great value for money
The keyboard is nice to play, it sounds great. Transferring songs from Chordana app to the keyboard was easy. The lesson feature is amazing as not only does it teach you the notes but also tells which fingers to use.

weird echo that sounds like a human voice or something
For its price, this is a very functional digital piano. I already had an 88-key digital piano when I bought this one because it was too heavy, long and clumsy to frequently store away and take out to use at a later time. I bought this much lighter piano beacuse I have a small apartment. I can conveniently store it away when I’m not using it, and take it out from the bag when I want to play. My only concern so far is that, there’s a specific key (I think it’s the G to the left of middle C) that when pressed, I can hear a soft, weird echo that sounds like a human voice or something. Other than that, the key is fine and NOT out of tune, I can still play all the pieces that I like.

Great substitute for a real piano
Got this for my granddaughter to play when she is not at home with her real piano. The touch sensitive keeps replicate the piano at home. The only thing missing is the pedals. We are very happy with the sound and she loves to play it. Her teacher was pleased with the sound and the sensitivity of this keyboard. The lessons are virtual so that is an important point.

Need a piano for your kids first lessons, buy this
I usually write overly detailed, super long reviews ... but all you need to know is that this is the ideal budget touch-sensitive, digital piano for anyone who is just starting lessons and doesn't want to make a huge investment. Has more than enough features for any beginner and other family members to tool around on. It's super light but still feels substantial. It's super easy to slide under things for storage. And even our 6 year old has mastered the basic features (changing instruments, accompaniments, metronome) in about a week.

Great Value
The touch sensitivity is amazing for the price. I really appreciate the option to go cordless. I was really surprised that it takes AA batteries (six of them). It gets decently loud, which is perfect for what I need it for. Great when using headphones with it as well. It is super light, as well. I'm considering getting another one for my little sister.

Sounds like a piano with good touch
I had been using a friend's older Casio keyboard (no longer made) and got used to it's sound and touch. When I got the new keyboard it didn't sound the same, but a friend (who happens to be a pianist) said it actually sounds like a piano whereas the loaner I was using was more muffled in tone. I also didn't realize using the loaner that you could play louder or softer, as the music dictated, but the new keyboard has good touch differentiation. My instructor recommended this keyboard -- it's the same as the one we use in class -- and I'm finding it excellent for me as a beginning piano student.

As good as it gets (for this price)
Was looking for a cheap portable piano for my dorm, and this is a great purchase so far for someone who hasn't touched one since he was a child. It's (relatively) firmly built, has decent (though not amazing) sound quality and speakers, and is pretty light at 6-7 pounds. There's plenty of tones to work with, though it's not by any means all inclusive (and I tend to stick with piano for the most part anyway). On top of that, there's a pitch bender (which I use occasionally), 4 step touch sensitivity, a metronome (which is slightly loud and which I never use), and a number of songs banked to start learning (which I also never use). The volume control has a noticeable gap in between a couple of increments (that is to say, it goes from slightly too soft to slightly too loud), and the display is good enough, though the notes/keys pressed are a little hard to read without a light directly over it. It does also need occasional wiping with a wet cloth/paper towel (like every 5 times I use it or so), and a couple of keys can be a bit squeaky depending on the angle at which I mash on them, but like I said, for CDN170 (plus 40 for a stand and 22 for a sustain pedal), this is a great practice/composing instrument.
