I recently bought this to do some edible cooking and it works pretty good. It delivers great heat and is nicely built.

I use this almost every. It works well, but is slower than a stove.

Our kitchen is almost all induction. But there are times when a conventional burner is required; enter the 1200-Watt Techwood Single Burner. It sits on the countertop next to the GE Monogram 30-inch induction cooktop, looks great, gets VERY hot.

I have cooked on this a few times now and absolutely love it!!! It cooks perfectly, doesn't heat up the area like a gas burner stove does!! And I love the red color of it that I bought.

If I could give no stars I would I quickly realized this the first time I used it I had turned it off 20 mins prior went to put it up it was still so hot that I couldn't use just my bear hands without getting burned ya could feel the heat still coming off of it so I had to use oven mits to keep from burning my hands after that I payed attention n noticed after ya turned it off that it would stay red for quite awhile after n heat would continue to rise from it 30mis later n today was the end for us I had forgotten to unplug n put it up after using it 12 hrs prior coffee n a plastic container fell off microwave onto it I didn't think to move it since it been off so long next think I no smoke is everywhere my coffee n container are literally on fire afterwards I check when I twisted the know the light came on so even n off position it still gave off anuff heat 12hrs after being used but still connected to power to melt plastic n catch the grounds on fire so wouldn't recommend anyone buying this it's truly not safe

I have techwood appliances across many of my rentals, especially double and single burners, this is a more newer one than the one i have now. This one was decent size and heated up quite quick, i like the knob control and the area of the surface was large. The underneath didnt get so hot where you could not touch it. But this lasted only 3 weeks, a tenant called me and said its dead, i ended up buying another techwood but a double burner as those seem to last longer.
